I'm sure he desreves it and it can only add to his value, but the downside is that it may also speed up his exit from Portman Road to a Premier League club.

Hopefully we'll get promoted so we won't have to worryCharnwood wrote:I'm sure he desreves it and it can only add to his value, but the downside is that it may also speed up his exit from Portman Road to a Premier League club.

If it happens, then it happens. At least we'll probably get a good deal out of it.

It was always bound to happen sooner or later, I think he will be here for this season at the very least and if we do go up then longer. At least his value is shooting up by the day and his eventual cost will dwarf the 3.5 million we got for Cresswell, remember him ?

Re: Mings set for call up?
I would put money on it that Mings will become Englands next established left back -ahead of Cresswell. Mings is the better all round left back and once he hons his positional sense as a "defending" left back ( his ability to overlap and cross is impressive even now) England's LB shirt is his. IMHO

I think the Warrington Town left back would get into the England team, Hallam.
