With reports suggesting Palace were contemplating recalling Williams before his injury on Saturday, I just want to see what people's thoughts were? I've not been able to make it to Portman Road this season, but from what I'm hearing, Bishop is the perfect replacement for him - especially now he's out for a month or so, or whether he goes back to Palace. For me, having them both is great competition and Williams is a great player to have in the Championship. I just want to ask you all how good Bishop is & could be?
Thanks
COME ON TOWN!

Re: Williams and Bishop
From where he has come from and how quickly Bishop is a fantastic little player, the biggest compliment I can give the lad is that while we have him we will not miss Williams, in fact Jonny's stint at the club this time around has been blighted by problems and he hasnt really played much anyway. Teddy Bishop first stood out in the second half at derby where he and Bru ran the 2nd half against the current best team in the division. Since then he has turned in good performance after good performace whenever he has been called upon. The piece of magic he provided to set up the second goal at Blackpool was pure class as he ghosted past Three defenders before setting up Murphy to score, he did a similar piece of skill against either Wolves or watford last week, cant remember which game it was.
The really am not overly worreid by JW being out for a month if that is the scenario, clearly I would rather he was fit but I dont really see MM ever playing them both at the same time as our system probably wouldnt allow it. I think if Bish continues to improve as he has already hje will easily be worth as much if not more than Tyrone in 2/3 years time.
