6/10 = Scuse

Does Cole Skuse do enough to justify MM's commitment to the Player? Does he ever do more than just enough? Or is his contribution in terms of breaking up play, disrupting the opposition's momentum and doing the 'ugly' things in midfield make his inclusion an automatic decision? Not sure how I feel about him, other than a vague wish that he would somehow up his game to be at least 7/10 more regularly.

I think he does. Every time I've seen us play this season I've noticed that bringing Skuse off causes the stability in the middle to fail. I've noticed it every time and I think he has a bigger impact than people think/see.

But of course, he doesn't contribute much to the attacking aspect of the team so that makes him a bad player.

I used to get so frustrated with Skuse but more recently I tend to agree with J4ck, he offers little going forward but the Donkey work he does in other areas is missed quite a bit when he isnt there.

I don't think he should be a automatic choice as he offers so little going forward and to be a rounded player he should offer something at least which in my humble view he does not , while he does break up play he is one of the players that i find myself muttering" oh bloody hell" when he plays a stray ball or shows a poor touch (as most of us do with players) , but with Cole it seems to be more than others in the MF. If Bru can keep developing i would like to see him alongside Hyam and Bish. That would be Bish for the flair and forward passing , Hyam as the enforcer , tackler .. and Bru a bit of both from what i have seen if he keeps developing , as i think he looks a good addition to the side long term.

At present do we have better options ??? not so sure we do to be honest , he does a job and that why he is there...but he does need to offer more going forward , for me he is a plyer that can be used in rotation or on a as needed basis be that injuries or against certain teams where being tight in the MF helps.

But in saying all that can not object to any of the players at the moment as thier doing all that can be asked of them and maybe more...overachieving?? maybe , but got to be happy all round

He might not be one to grab the headlines but we are far worse out without him in the side. Those who have thought otherwise in the last season or two have generally been those who hold the opinion that if somebody doesn't offer anything in terms of attacking then they aren't a good addition, it's flawed... as quite simply whilst he doesn't score for us, he does (pretty much every single game) break up countless moves that are likely to ask questions of our defence.

 I thought everyone thought he was sh*t? Everyone and their f**king dog jumped on Mach Polish Blues "Skuse sucks" bandwagon. Amazing what some good results do. LOL.

I think that before being injured, Saturday was his most effective performance; and that was as part of a team that, to a man, played exceptionally well. Whilst there's no doubt that he does much of the 'water carrying' jobs effectively, there have also been times when his performances have been no more than average. However, really pleased that he has shown the ability, like Tabby, to raise his game, and hope that he recovers quickly from his knock. He needs to put in similar standard performances for the rest of the season.
