Whatever happens it will be on the cheap. Don't expect any substantial money to be spent on reinforcements.

Now is certainly the time to roll the dice. We are paper thin, it's been said numerous times before and as expected the tired legs and injuries are creeping in.

Am I right in thinking most transfer windows pass us by with little happening? Or have I just made this up? Now, more than ever, I wish we hadn't wasted so much money during the Keane and Jewell terms. Make or break month for me.

Suspect this one will too. But i am expecting MM to dip into the loan signings. Problem is how many games will have gone by before we strengthen ?

I'm sure prior to the game someone on the TV mentioned he had strained something (calf?) In training.

Must admit was surprised he wasnt in goal that night. He seems to be picking up a lot of injuries in the pre match warm up. Whats that all about for a professional sportsman?

Gerken has injured his thigh in training on Tuesday
Expected to be out for up to a month

Maybe a couple of fresh faces around the place with a bit of quality might help, but im not holding me breath to be honest MM knows what he is doing and im sure if we needed a few quid ME would hand it over what with are current position!!
