Paddy Kenny !!!!!

Former Leeds, Sheffield United and Ireland keeper Paddy Kenny is set to join the Blues on loan from Bolton Wanderers, TWTD understands.
Earlier this evening manager Mick McCarthy confirmed that a deal had been agreed regarding a new keeper to come in as cover while Dean Gerken is out with a hip injury which is expected to sideline him for around a month.
Halifax-born Kenny, 36, started his career with Bradford Park Avenue, moving on to Bury and Whitby Town (loan) before he joined the Blades, initially on loan in 2002.
After eight years at Bramall Lane Kenny joined QPR and Leeds before joining Bolton, for whom he is yet to make an appearance, last summer.
In November the seven-times-capped Republic of Ireland international joined Oldham on loan, where he made four starts in a spell which ended earlier this month.

Another one from out of the blue.
Certainly unexpected but has plenty of experience and should be good enough to provide cover whilst Gerken remains injured.

Bialkowski should shave his beard off and put the shavings in a bag. THAT in itself could've been cover.
Not one for being overly negative, but I've read a little more...... I'm hoping Bialkowski stays fit.

I heard about this at Millwall several people were saying it was him but i didn't want to believe it.

Kenny is a decent shot-stopper with years of experience who really came to the fore at Sheffield United, so if it's true, we could do worse than give him a go.

Surprise, surprise! Providing he's fit, not fat, will bring adequate cover with shed loads of experience. Selective hearing comes as standard!

That'll do for me. Doubt we will see him play in the month or two he will be with us but good to have someone with experience just in case.

I've read that negotiations were tough...the deal almost stalled on his agents request for six pies per match in Paddy's kit bag behind the goal. Apparently ME would only agree to four pies and a few MM sausages...
