Kevin Bru

Post by Charnwood » Wed Jan 21, 2015 1:01 am

Whilst Balint Bajner has been a bit of a disappointment and moved on to Notts County, Kevin Bru has been quite the opposite and proved to be a tremendous success and yesterday signed a new contract through to 2018 with an option for a one year extension.

This highlights the importance of taking players on trial to see how it works out and I guess a 50% success rate would be seen as pretty good going for this method of recruitment.

Well done ITFC Management team.

I had my doubts at forst but have been very impressed with this guy layely, his game has everything and p[otentially he can be a massive player for us, you look at the squad and think certain players just wouldnt cut it in the Prem but I look at Bru and think the opposite.

Has he played enough games for you to come to the opinion that he's EPL class? I didn't think he'd played enough for that.

I agree, he also gives the ball away to much to prem class yet.

Doesnt matter how many games he has played, I believe his game is well suited to the premier League and thats all I am interested in, just the same as most will know Bishop and Mings will cut it in the Prem in the not too distant.

Let's hope Cameron Stewart will turn out to be just as good as bru when his fitness is up and he gets more games under his belt.
When we signed him it looked like we had a good signing after the Leeds fiasco time will tell on him who knows he may make the grade.

I remember Stewart being described as a player with lots of pace, who likes to run with the ball. I hope we eventually see this.

Strangely enough I don't see him as a Premiership player.

I do not doubt that you can look at certain players and just "see" that they are a cut above the rest. But you see Premier League class in Kevin Bru? I'll need to watch him closer next time ITFC are on TV. I must've missed it.

Yeah I genuinely do Marko, I may be wrong, but then again I have seen Rooney Numerous times and would doubt his ability to cut it in the prem but there ya go, on another day he looks brilliant.
