Re: On TV Again
No I don't think so BB, Mick should have got the squad nicely sorted out by April to face Bournemouth at home,
well I bloody hope so anyway, he should have had enough time to go with the squad of players we have and include any possible loan additions needed to push for auto promotion, but we cannot afford to lose any more games now, as I cant see Bournemouth, Derby, Middlesbrough, & Watford dropping many points, Blackburn will be pushing as will the scum, I cant see Brentford lasting the pace, but Wolves might make a late charge, so its vital Mick gets any loan additions in quickly to really strengthen the squad up, forget the FFP and go for it, I don't think we have a better chance of going up than this, and if Marcus has got his head screwed on he will see the £ Millions that can come in and sort our overdraft out, Micks got the knowhow to do this as he done with Sunderland & Wolves, so lets see the treble Mick. I do agree, ashford........, I just hate ITFC being on TV. Hallam laughs but I genuinely believe Barmy. They are fkn rank on the TV.

Re: On TV Again
Just think if it was a PL fixture - we'd be rich beyond our wildest! £10M a minute, or something like that.....
True our TV performances recently have not been good. Must be time to get our act together for the cameras - no greater incentive than against The Cherries. (Not good to lose (to) your cherries on TV)

Re: On TV Again
It was so obvious this game was gonna be on Sky knew it. That will effect the attendance shame as could of seen this game being nearly a sell-out but should still be a high crowd.

Should be a good game and will be one that counts that close to end of season.

Re: On TV Again
The financial payment from Sky covers any lost attendence revenue, but what it doesn't do is replace lost atmosphere as a result of a smaller crowd.
I really enjoy watching Town on Sky and if we have any aspirations to play in the Premier League we need to get used to it.

Can't always subscribe to the theory that the club plays less when televised. How many people have availability to Sky television though. High profile game involving two promotion candidates, it should be a successful event.

Re: On TV Again
This will be the 7th time on sky I think, Fulham won ,Scum we didn't, Charlton won Derby lost and Scum, Boro and Bournemouth to come we have also been on the BBC and lost to Southampton. In terms of TV money this must help the budget a bit.
