I like this lineup, Mike. However, I'd probably switch Bishop and Anderson. I think Bish could be a better link up with the strikers? What do you think?

After last night's starting lineup god knows what Mick might come up with.

Anybody know if Bishop is going to be fit for Saturday?

Yes switching those two could well be as good an option. I am hoping Bish is fit, it has been suggested he should be.

Yes i like the thought of that. But i also agree that Mings needs a rocket up his arrogant arse. Far to bloody casual.

Anyone else, (who's half decent) who could start in place of Anderson? Think past 2 or 3 match reports suggested that he's playing like a horses arse at the moment.

He does at times marko but he can deliver a good ball, something none of the others do, we miss his delivery alone.

I have cried out for Three at the back and Two wing backs for bloody years, I believe the players we have would be ideal in that formation, unfortunately I don't see it happening under MM for whatever reason.

[quote="bluemike"]Gerken

Parr Chambers Berra Mings

Bishop Skuse Bru

Anderson Murphy Sears[/quote
]

Yep I'll go with this Mike, and just to throw a mix in the bag, Connolly on the bench (Lightning speed quote by MM) well bloody use him
If Mick lines up Smith and Tabb you can count any form of promotion hopes will disappear

Agree totally! Don't forget Stewart - probably a bit more experienced than Connolly. Or Both, even on the bench. :) Let's show some real attacking intent.

I can see why Andrrson was brought back as he is the only person capable of delivering a set piece. Yet everything Wednesday was apparently taken by Tabb who couldn't get past the first man :roll:

I agree with Mike, wingbacks would totally suit us but I can never see it happening. Mick isn't a flair manager, he's a grind out results guy.

But whatever happens, ffs put Chambers in the middle instead of smith

Bru out, apparently - twisted knee :cry: But Bish back. :D

Assuming 4-4-2, starting midfield likely to be from: Skuse, Bish, Tabb, Anderson, Chaplow?
Hopefully, Connolly and Stewart on the bench.

If Bish plays hopefully he won't put him out wide right like he has recently.

I have read he could be on the bench, I reckon if that is the case Chaplow will start alongside Skuse with Tabb or Parr on the left.

With home advantage, and the opposition having fallen away somewhat in recent weeks, just hope - and expect - McCarthy to go offense minded with two up front and obviously Murphy this time to start. Don't want no tentative approaches and McCarthy needs to illustrate to his players the importance of where we find ourselves - and how valuable every point is going to be from here to end of season.

I'd imagine his opposition number will be putting across the same message.

Yeah mike, i feel it would be a very good formation with the players we have, not just the stating 11 but fresh legs from the bench. I feel berra and smith are stretched with only 4 at the back and 3 in midfield especially when mings pushes on
