The trouble with bringing in loan players, you feel you have to play them or what's the point of bringing them in. MM has said many times he will only bring players in"if they are better than what he has already got". Well I don't think Wood, Chaplow and Varney any better that what we have already got, they are hear to cover injuries. To the likes of Didz, the Hunt Brothers, Ambrose and hyam. What I cant understand is when he persists with players who are not performing Bart and Smith. Also we have a left sided player in Cameron Stewart who must be thinking what do I have to do to get a chance.
Rant over.

This is exactly why I was not keen on new players coming in, we didnt need them and it is having a negative effect on everything we have achieved. Most kept bleating on about it so i hope they are happy, I expect they will be the ones moaning loudest about the last two results.

If we hadn't brought any loan players in, with 3 games to play every eight days pretty much every week from now till the end of the season we'd be struggling to field a full team + man the bench.
You just can't expect the same eleven players to play every game, that's physically not possible plus you need cover for injuries & suspensions.
With such a small squad I don't think we'd survive without loanees.

The point was not about getting loans but the quality of loans. A Millwall reject, a Blackburn reject who are both below us and somebody who cant get a game with a team at the bottom of the Prem.

The loan system lends itself to getting other clubs left overs this is how it works, the next rule is all about affordability.....and...
Pay peanuts get monkeys comes to mind.

We have something like galf a team out through injuries. That's what you get with z small squad, and a playing style if run, hassle close down, work yer sox off football. Like it or not many players ard burnt out. Even Murphy has lost his fizz.
i think MM made the changes he did vs Leeds , in order to give established 1st teamers a rest, in the expectation that those coming in could be good enough to hold the fort against Leeds. Problem was the error infestered defence was up to its old tricks...,plus MM continuing to play players out of position at the back.
MM seems to be flogging a dead horse with his squad now in the these last few games. He has no other options available to try, and still has up 6 players out with injury. I have felt for a few weeks nowvtgatbthis squad was feeling the strain. IMO we will fizzle out over the next month, when our run in proves to be too tough for those tired legs still standing.
its been a good season, but i think we will just fall short, due only becuase of our lack of depth /quality in the squad and never more so than in out midfield.
