Taylor leaves club

When asked earlier about Paul Taylor, Mick replied with "He's done, he can do whatever he likes" which was followed by the news that the club had cancelled his contract.
Quite a sorry tale really.

Has the lad been up to no good again, something I've missed in the news? Or has he said something unsavoury? Micks words are a bit strong for it to be about something in the almost distant past.
Edit to add; I wish Taylor all the best....., he definitely has talent that could be useful to many clubs. If managed properly I suppose......, and that's not a dig at McCarthy.

Paul Taylor is probably one of the major reasons ME is hesitant to spend money on transfers. Can you believe Taylor only scored 1 goal for us. If my math is correct, that's about 1.5 million pounds a goal.

If that is true, then thanks very much Mevans for saving the club, but Fk Off now, and take your wallet with you.
But, I think that is bullshit, 9.

Spending money on a player who turns out to have a bad attitude is one thing, wasting money on talentless sh*t like Priskin and Martin is more likely to have affected purse strings.

How many goals did Taylor score for Rotheram?

Go on, let us know after you've Wiki'd it. I'll take a guess at zero goals?
I won players player of the year for Gracie Rovers 82/83 & 83/84 season, right winger, only scored 5 goals, for both seasons. But I assisted Quinno, (top scorer both seasons) with almost all of his goals, and a host of others. Then I met a girl and walked into a pub but that's another story......., point is......, Taylor, (the occasions I have saw him) was useful on the field of play for other things, especially taking two defenders with him on his jinky runs opening up space for others.

He is a good player Marko. I just don't think he's worth the money. Granted, MM never really gave Taylor a chance to prove himself, but Taylor hasn't done a lot for himself either. I don't hear about teams knocking down the door trying to get PT's signature??

Yeah, I know. Just trying to defend the lad. He got himself into some bother, which he will no doubt regret and will want to move on, but the media can be relentless at times. Whether it's his own fault or not, it's very unfortunate. Could've been another less annoying Craig Bellamy.

Bad apple in the tub of apples it seems. Good luck to any club that takes him on. What a total waste of Evans' money though!
