Massive game tonight

So tonight sees Rotherham play Reading. Considering Brentford play Wigan on sat I assume we are all Reading fans tonight.
What do we think the score will be?? And how important do we believe tonight's fixture is??
I unfortunately think Rotherham will win relegating Wigan and Millwall. Therefore I see Brentford smashing Wigam Saturday pissing up the GD. However I will feel so much better if Reading get a result.

My heart wants Reading to win for obvious reasons, but my head says Rotherham's survival instincts will come to the fore and they will win.
2-1 Rotherham.

This game could be massive for Town and a Reading win will have Wigan fighting for their lives on saturday, the importance of this game should not be lost on any of us. Unfortunately I can only see a Rotherham win, 2-1

Reading have mustered 2 bloody shots in 53 mins and not one was even on target.
Town will have to win sat. Nothing else will do as far as I can see

Not going to be easy but it will depend on what Town team turns up.
If it's the one that got results at Brentford and Watford then we have every chance but a performance like the one at Huddersfield and we certainly will be in trouble.

So Molinuex won't be under attack this weekend then ? Sad to see Wigan Athletic go if that is the case, they only had the FA Cup two years back. That is one rapid decline
So fact of the matter we need at least a point on Saturday ? Whatever occured in this game today, it should be obtainable.

Mind you if we can score a goal sat, Brentford would need to score 4 goals without reply ( assuming the worst sceanario and we lose say 2-1)

The form Sears is in right now i can see him scoring 1/2 goals. Our defence needs to be at it's very best Saturday and keep Berra away from our goal

What odds a scenario of West Germany / Austria 1982 where we score a goal after ten minutes, both teams effectively shut shop and cue an aimless kick around for 80 minutes. Wolves and Brentford being the (disgruntled) Algerians.

That actually isnt correct Liz as it would depend on how many Blackburn get LOL.

How long ago were Wigan in the premier league? Just shows you how unbalanced the league is in favour of these teams with parachute payments

Thanks Lucy. That means they still have parachute payments even in league 1!

I am not expecting Wigan or Millwall to just rollover but to go out fighting, Wolves nor Brentford will have easy games. But we have to forget about them, if we go for it and win then we have nothing to worry about, I can see us giving Blackburn an uncomfortable game.

Bloody hell, we're in the best position out of the 4 and need a point to guarantee play offs, we shouldn't need to worry about everyone else. We've gotten this far, can't we have a little bit of faith?

Ok....., the bottom line is; draw (or win) and it's the play offs. Yes, it's in ITFC's hands. Everyone knows that, and accepts that.
But it's ok to mention that Reading losing last night is a f**king ball breaker. People can dismiss it all they want, but Wigans mindset Vs Brentford is going to be so much different.

That's about it Jack. All we need do is concentrate on our own objectives and what other teams do will prove immaterial.
Still can't believe it's been 10 years since a top six finish. Been away so long and the opportunity is there to get back with one game, and one point from it. It's really as simple as that. Yes we can do it.

Yes I agree, but a lot of this anxiety is bourne out of silly unforced erros we have made to gift soft goals all season. If we could be sure we dont repeat this "habit" id be very much more happier.
Fingers crossed that we can finish the job for stage 1 : qualify for PO's !
