Perhaps you could post a road updatd for me Shed. We're leaving at 6am, A14, M6 etc route, so would be grateful of any up dates on hold up hot spots to look out for tomorrow.

M6 really bad today had to queue ages to get onto M6 from the A14 as they are doing roadworks there. Long delays going past Villa Park and between junctions 14 and 16 it was just stop start. Whether it will be any better in the morning I don't know but there does appear to be a lot of bank holiday traffic on the road.

Could always jump on M1 from A14 , then go A50 to Stoke and join M6 at junction 15. Tend to go that way whenever I am making my way home from Suffolk direction.

That's by far the better route but you still get caught up in the roadworks at the A14/ M6/ M1 interchange, although to be fair it's usually no more than a 10 min delay.

That's what I'd be doing......., bevvy on Friday night and relaxing stroll to Ewood on Saturday. That's how it must be done. Hope you manage to do that, Mike.

Hope all that are going have a safe journey up, enjoy the game all and let's hope this time tomorrow we will still be singing!!

I will have to get up early to catch the scores as sleeping off nights (finish at 06:45), if anyone is passing by M4/M5 'Bristol' interchange tonight upto 6am in the morning then feel free to pop in for a 'free' machine produced coffee lol.
