Next Seasons Top 10

Post by phily bon bon » Thu Jul 16, 2015 1:52 pm

Here it is Again boys and girls, our annual prediction of Next seasons top ten. Whom could have predicted Bournemouth or Watford winning Automatic Places and good luck to them both. The scum had by enlarge under acieved all season until they went on a good run at the right time. I love the championship as it is for me the hårdest League in the World to predict a Winner from. The top club could and has lost at home to the bottom Club...can you name another League where that could happen? nor me. I LOVE the championship . The fact that three teams with vast resources come down and three teams with real hunger and optimism come up only adds to the spice of the championship.
Burnley with their millions and parachute payments,Hull with the most experienced manager and the money and the remnants of a premier League squad, QPR the moneybags of the championship, Bristol with new ground 30,000+ fanatical fans Preston and MK dons all good sides that have knocked us out of cups recently. Add to the mix established quaility sides of the championship, Leeds, Forest, Derby, Wolves, Sheffiels W, etc etc one things for sure. Its gonna be a rollercoaster ride of a season .
Murphy signing is brilliant news and with Mick maybe starting to use out and out wingers  Didzy stayinng also things could be on the up. I would imagine most if not all the other clubs could also write an optimistic article on the forthcoming season to.

Its gonna be great so pop your predictions down and a couple of times throughout the season we will put it up to congratulate/take the pi$$t of our predictions a line or two as to why you have predicted what you did would be great also.

If your feeling lucky try in the right order 8) or just beat Charnwood and myself with more than 7 out of 10.

I will be back before season start with my prediction also. :D
Good luck and enjoy the summer.

Well with only weeks to go heres my prediction. In no particular order these are the teams i feel will end up in the top 10. Like always there will be a suprise or two and one of the favourites will do a Wigan or certainly a Fulham...struggle all season but not go down.
As I said before the clubs coming Down MUST start as favourits to bounce back at the first attempt. Most will hold onto the lions share of their respective squads. The teams coming up will also look at Bournemouth as inspiration to what hard Work and good coaching can achieve even from a newly promoted side.

Maybe I will have a go at predicting the right order(feeling brave :D ) later but for now the top ten will most likely be

1. Hull City very experienced manager with lots of Money and a premier League squad.
2. Middlesbrough Again silly Money thrown at them with a team that nearly made the final last season. Buying big already
3. Derby County So close last time and Again buying big in the pre season
4. Brentford  they are my suprise package...it was´nt a fluke they are getting stronger and have a ruthless chairman driving them forward with a LOT going on behind the scenes.
5. QPR Again with shed loads and a decent squad. The start of the season will effect their Whole season like fulham last year
6. Ipswich Town I feel they are Building something special at the mo, but over a season might just scrape into a play off slot
7. Wolvehampton much the same as our town
8. Bristol City The highest of the promoted teams with a partisan backing and a decent squad and manager
9. Burnley The lowest of the religated sides maybe doing a fulham as i explained above
10. Cardiff City Again a good hardworking side that with the right manager could push for a play off slot. Like us a very long serving championship team.

Well thats my shout lets hear yours!!! cant be any worse than mine.

2. Derby
3. Mbrough
4. QPR
5. Fulham
6. Forrest
7. Brentford
8. Town
9. Cardiff
10 . Shef,W

think we over reached last year , and i really feel that for most clubs it,s now or never as it will just stagnate into a mini league that yo-yo between the prem and champ and alas i dont think we will be in that little group , i know it,s not all about money but it,s a large part of it and the clubs that bounce to and throw will have the money from parachute payments more than ever now...FFFP MY ARSE.!!QPR at least should be in laegue 2 , but bugger all will happen..

Double bugger forgot all about Wolves as well.!!..bu e hey ho , i have put it down so stick with it , and our place would not really change..(pray that i way of the mark)

With Steve Bruce threatning to quit if hes not backed and QPR not really buying yet,and may sell Austin maybe a lot of us have it all wrong. It could well be another year of the two suprises. I would LOVE it if none of the religated teams went up again.

With only a few days to the start of the league, let's see your predicted top ten. I may have underated Fulham as they will not want a season like the last. I can see Wednesday making a push for the top ten but realistically the religated teams will be many favourites.
One things for sure it's going to be close with many ups and downs so sit back and enjoy the season.
