Re: Next Seasons Top 10
People are taking a look at Sheff Wed but I'm Surprised nobody is looking at Reading. They have a very good coach and have signed okay players so far.
Al Habsi, Gunter, Ferdinand, Robson Kanu, Quinn, McShane, Hector, Pogrebnyak, McClearly, Cox, Obita are all good players at this level plus couple of foreigners come in.

They certainly underachieved last season and in hector they have a player who I rate very highly indeed, in fact I will be surprised if he stays there much longer. I still don't see them troubling the top six if I am honest.

Just to reflect in a "did I really say that" way. Most looking good and the usual suspects getting most of the top ten right. Still a few twists and turns but lets see.

Looking at what most people predicted and expected for Town why is there so much doom and gloom when most expected what we are possibly seeing ? Still in the hunt for 6th spot.

At least I can get a dance, or at least watch the wife dance, to Justin "fuckface" Beiber......., Adele's lyrics make me want to hook a hose up to my exhaust pipe and sit in the van until death arrives.

Re: Next Seasons Top 10
The "music" industry has been so sh*t for so long now, the last track I purchased was available on Vinyl.
With regards the league prediction, if you look at the division as it stands today :
1 Hull
2 Middlesbrough
3 Brighton
4 Burnley
5 Sheffield Wed
6 Derby
7 Birmingham
8 Ipswich
9 Cardiff
10 Notts Forest
- with what was originally suggested back in August :
#1 Middlesbrough
#2 Cardiff City
#3 Wolverhampton
#4 Derby County
#5 Charlton Ahtletic
#6 Ipswich Town
#7 Blackburn Rovers
#8 Brentford
#9 Sheffield Wednesday
#10 Leeds United
- then it's not largely unchanged from before. Of course there is still a large remainder of the season still to play and positions will be subject to change.
The most important thing of all is getting ourselves into the play-off positions once again, and despite the recent poor scores, there is a realistic opportunity to achieve that one more time. Best time to evaluate of course is when the season is done.

Re: Next Seasons Top 10
Of the ten teams suggested back in August, six (including ourselves) arrived in the relevant positions. Had Middlesbrough as league champions and Town to finish in sixth place, so wasn't too distant with those alone.
May be of notice that of the top ten positions regards this year's finish, Ipswich scored the fewest goals, conceded the most goals only second to Brentford, and ended with the poorest goal difference of all teams involved.
Furthermore still unable to completely ascertain how the team finished where they did. Are you really telling me the team are the seventh best club side of the last twelve months within the championship league ? Put it another way : can't recall too many instances where the team played collectively efficiently over 90 minutes, or it was a score to remember for the right reasons. (We've been garbage on more occasions than people can remember over the last nine months but still obtained a commendable finish and missed out by one position for another play-off opportunity)
Maybe it's only an illustration that outside of the promotion places it's been a very poor division this year and if we've been disappointing, how collectively poor must the teams below us have been this season ?

Re: Next Seasons Top 10
1. Hull City very experienced manager with lots of Money and a premier League squad.
2. Middlesbrough Again silly Money thrown at them with a team that nearly made the final last season. Buying big already
3. Derby County So close last time and Again buying big in the pre season
4. Brentford they are my suprise package...it was´nt a fluke they are getting stronger and have a ruthless chairman driving them forward with a LOT going on behind the scenes.
5. QPR Again with shed loads and a decent squad. The start of the season will effect their Whole season like fulham last year
6. Ipswich Town I feel they are Building something special at the mo, but over a season might just scrape into a play off slot
7. Wolvehampton much the same as our town
8. Bristol City The highest of the promoted teams with a partisan backing and a decent squad and manager
9. Burnley The lowest of the religated sides maybe doing a fulham as i explained above
10. Cardiff City Again a good hardworking side that with the right manager could push for a play off slot. Like us a very long serving championship team.
Seven out of ten, thats not bad at all

Re: Next Seasons Top 10
Putting a decent bet on for the three down going back up. Reckon the 'Pies will win the league, Villa up as runners up, and Norshit Shitty winning the poffs. Based on nothing really. Just want a pay out like some Leicester fans have had.
