Paul Konchesky anybody?

Post by Charnwood » Thu Jul 30, 2015 11:04 pm

Leicester City's experienced left-back Paul Konchesky is likely to be released, would he be a decent signing or is he past it?

I'd say no as slightly past sell by date and certainly expensive (wages).
MM seems to be targeting much younger, quicker players. Which I'm really pleased about.
I also love the fact we are once again already being written off by pundits. Under the radar again will suit us just fine.

It looks like the position has been filled by 22 year old Dannish International Jonas Knusden who appears to have joined us from Danish Superliga club Esbjerg fB subject to contract & medical today. This could be problem solved.

It looks like this fella also scores goals which would be an added bonus.

I have a mate who works in Denmark and really rates this guy. Based on his opinion, I'll say that if it goes through then it's a really good signing.
Looking more and more like we may field 2 proper full backs (Parr and Knusden) and move Chambo to centre back where he should be.

All sounds very promising.

That's good to hear Rossi, looks like a sound signing and another potential issue ironed out.
