It is a good point saint makes though, god forbid if MM put the team sheet up and left a full stop off or something, he would be deemed the worst manager in history and in need of replacing.

No, he is usually taking a full forward off when 2-0 up. :D

Good grammar separates us from those In-Breds up the road! Good call Saint Jude.

Something must separate the Town fans from the inbreeds up the road, but until the "of/have" issue is sorted, I'm not putting dough on grammar.

In-Bred is slang and colloquial when ITFC fans refer to the scum. I would of/have told you that today/tomorrow.

Well at least Stevenage winning 11-2 hasn't completely pissed people off.

Domhide hasn't come back to alter that. Hopefully he hasn't jumped from a high thing thinking the TB's were seriously spanked by Stevenage.

Couldn't put up the link but if you visit grammar about.com it provides a comprehensive report.

As it states, Have functions as an auxiliary verb while Of is not a contradiction, but a preposition.

Hope that hepled you out.

Thanks for that, Saint.

I don't understand why the of/have thing irritates me so much. Maybe I just can't figure out why some people can be so f**king thick. Don't get me wrong, I'm no English Lit professor or anything like that, but I really just would of thought that it was basic English! :D

Hi aent wuried bout spelin misstakes has longue has website get the Score write.
For those of us that live far afield and rely on info on the ITFC website:
Posting up the final score as Ipswich 2 – Stevenage 11 and leaving it there for hours is not funny – this was the case the other night. Some of you obviously did not appreciate what my posting was about!.

I think you meant contraction? I could be wrong; I am thick.
