There is absolutely no chance Benteke would've scored had world class , £10M rated defender, Mings been playing.

I think I read somewhere that Eddie Howe said he'd start the season using the same players that got the club promoted making sure they were given a chance to show what they could do.
If this is the case Mings will have to wait either for someone to play badly or get injured, or maybe simply given a rest.
I'm sure he didn't expect to simply walk into the first team even tho he's their most expensive signing.
