Battled for the 3 points tonight......

Got lucky with the penalty decision...The 2nd half we pressed for a second goal. As already mentioned in a previous post....our defending is pretty dam desperate at times.

Maybe turned up on the night at Portman Road then realized we were playing away ?

Look in all seriousness, seen a lot of talk that the penalty decision was questionable but what's done is done. Lo and behold McCarthy said after the game that it was a fair decision and the match official got it correct, but whatever the case it rescued the game for us and we'll take it and move on.

As for the defense, did OK it would seem against an opposition that can cause you a lot of problems but there's plenty of opposition teams to come in the weeks and months ahead and we've been witness already that there needs to be a level of improvement in that area of the team if we are to really challenge for the highest promotion places. The forward line seems competent enough but every team that gets a promotion to the EPL out of this league invariably has a defensive unit that is capable, so McCarthy will realize this do whatever is necessary.

Things even out over a season by and large. Bournemouth effectively went up on the back on many a penalty decision by a team coached in diving it seemed. I'll take a dubious goal every week if it means we go up. Couldn't give a flying ******* if it is considered "lucky" in some quarters. In fact the mire our style pisses off the opposition the better as far as I'm concerned!
