First name on the team sheet?
He may not be everyone's choice as RB but certainly the best at the club currently.
We would miss him greatly if he got injured or suspended and as a captain he is awesome - his passion for the club is outstanding.
As MM has said recently he has grown into his role and is a significant attacking threat.
Our team is better with him in it, good on MM for sticking with him.

- agree?

I don't know about first name on the teamsheet, but he has certainly found a rich vein of form and answered all his critics from the start of the season.

I think Chambers is one of a core of players who are certs to start in MM's side if available, Skuse, Berra, Smith, Murphy and Gerken being others. I believe Chambo has come on in leaps and bounds over recent months and is without doubt now a competent and reliable RB, yes he has his many critics but I feel they are "living in the past" where the skipper is concerned in as much as their opinion of him is based on the player that was learning a new role over a year ago, yes he struggled at first but now I have no reservations whatsoever about him being our first choice and recognised Right back.

I remember going back a while loads of Town fans screaming out for us to sign Richard Stearman as our RB, what most didnt seem to realise is that he too is in fact a centre back who has been used in a different role, it could be true that he picked up the switch easier than Chambo but I do not believe he was any better in that role, in fact he would NOT be getting into the box and scoring goals like Luke has that is a certainty, I think when Stearman played for us we were so bad that I would have looked half decent at RB.

For me personally I think he is a must in our team, his leadership of this club both on and off the field are second to none, it is he more than anyone who has brought the relationship between players and fans much closer than it has been for years, it is obvious he loves playing for this Football club and that goes a long way with me, I believe him to be the best captain since Matty Holland hands down, I can't think of many more motivational than Super Chambo.

Chambo is becoming a bit of a specialist at arriving in.the box at the far post to smash the ball home. Bloody awesome header for the equilizer .

Top man, a natural leader and rapidly improving as an attacking RB. As MM says, he has selflessly brought into the RB role without complaint, and invaraibly gives nothing less than total commitment - a great role model. Teams who, in the past, might have targeted him as a weak link will need to rethink. Really pleased for him.

Someone wondered how many former players still retained strong local links with the club - there are a good few from Sir Bobby's era. In time I can see LC being among their number.
