Never heard of him......., but RIP to an obvious legend to the ITFC community.

Don't recognize the name but doubtless someone who possessed a lot of enthusiasm for the team and dedicated time to present and follow action. Take this opportunity to offer condolences to his immediate family at this difficult time.

A lovely man - Ipswich through and through. There will be many of my age who will recall him being the DJ on the Blue Arrow trains of the late 60s / early 70s as we travelled direct to grounds around the country.

How good were those "Blue Arrow" trains, a real blast from the past and a fantastic way to travel to away games.

Was anyone else on the train when bricks came through the windows on the way home from Manchester as the train made it's way through Moss Side, a very scary few minutes.

Far more great memories than bad ones, especially the journeys home.

Remember getting the Blue Arrow to Newcastle one year and when arriving at the station we were greeted by a group of Geordies singing to us "you're going to get your f****** heads kicked in"!
