The end is nigh?

Yes I'm bored, but I thought it'd be interesting to see other forum member's thoughts on the topic.

1. I've always felt McClaren is over-rated, and I think now he's finally being found out.

2. Don't know enough about Remi Garde, but it appears the players have given up at Villa. What an idiot Randy Lerner must be to have pushed away Martin O'Neil. O'Neil's reign was arguably Villa's best in years.

3. Alex Neil should p*ss off back to Scotland and let the Scum fester in their canary sh*t.

4. I honestly thought Pardew would have done a fantastic job at Palace, but he seems to be running out of ideas.

5. I'm not a ManU hater like many on this forum, and I'd like to see a different manager in charge at Old Trafford.

1/ Don't give a fk. Although he should get the hair island on his head shaved.

2/ Villa play in maroon......, definitely don't give a fk.

3/ Agreed. I actually think Alex would be better in the Scottish game. Out of his depth down there, or perhaps a little too early for him. Very good manager though and knows his stuff.

4/ I would not tire slapping Pardew..... His face annoys me, so......, don't give a fk.

5/ Anything Man Utd related......, just do not give a fk!

* Trust you'll see the banter-ish side of my reply......., but I'm hoping you get a decent discussion going with this. *

Voted on the Aston Villa position. Sad fall from grace for the Birmingham team and believe one of the founder members of the football league and they're on the brink of second league soccer next season. Believe saw read on these pages a day or two back that McCarthy himself could be a potential candidate to take over in the summer if (as seems likely) they rid themselves of their current manager. This seems very doubtful and don't believe their directors would even consider such an option, but stranger things have occurred.

Care little what Newcastle or Crystal Palace get up to but would favor a Norwich and Manchester United misfortune. Therefore I hope those two last mentioned teams keep their respective names and continue on a downward spiral.

I suspect Steve McLaren will be gone before Newcastles Uniteds next game away to Leicester City on Monday 14th.

Most of us knew he was a ridiculous appointment when they poached him from Derby County..

Newcastle have exactly what they deserve!

I certainly can't speak for the majority of Newcastle fans, but I know three lads through work who are avid Magpies, ......, they HATED the Steve McLaren appointment.

And for the poll, I voted Aston Villa. I personally see them as a major English/European/World football club. Not many people haven't heard of Aston Villa. My PE teacher in Geelong, Australia was a Villa supporter. Massive club, with tons of history. I know G&B Wolfie hates them, but they need to be an EPL club IMHO.

Well they need to enjoy the next few weeks cos they're very unlikely to be EPL next season unless they finish this season like Leicester City did last year.

Oh they are going down, no question. But answering the poll......., the bloke needs emptied. Aston Villa need a top boss. (if one genuinely exists these days)

I actually dislike every club you've mentioned there, so I hope they all stay and ruin them all.

Maybe not LVG, I feel he's been buggered with that job

Gone before the Leicester City game as predicted....

In comes Rafa... a decent appointment but inexperienced as far as relegation battles are concerned.

Benitez did (and it pains me to say it) well, very well, at Liverpool but what he essentially inherited for the European Cup and FA Cup wins was from Houllier's team before him.

Can't remember where we went after that, maybe back to Spain, but was surprised to see him back in the EPL at this point in time, especially at a club side like Newcastle.

Will it be a success on Tyneside ? Skeptical, but at least he's got honors to his name with other teams. Maybe a favorite name like Malcolm MacDonald or Peter Beardsley may have been worth a try instead, but guess they've already made their decision.
