Lennon leaves Bolton...

...... by mutual consent following the recent takeover.

I'm not sure whether this means the new owners want a clean start with their own man in charge or Lennon wants to be free to go elsewhere, like Nottingham Forest maybe ?

Thoughts anyone..

It will certainly be strange looking at Bolton in League One.

Lennon had a good record at Celtic providing the club with three or four championships and SFA cup honors. Maybe didn't replicate those achievements when moving out of the SPL but has around five or six years of managerial experience and Bolton could do worse than employ his services.

Anyone would have a good record at Celtic in a 2 team league, hardly a glowing endorsement.

If he fancied it he could probably go back to Celtic next season.

Celtic fans would fancy it. Ronnie Deila has them 1 point clear of Aberdeen with a game in hand. He's worse than RK & PJ rolled into one. Lennon no doubt would've had Celtic 23 points clear. As scripted.

Delia has done well since arriving and while safe to say there isn't really much of challenge in the SPL (no team outside the Old Firm has won the league since 1984 - 85, he's proved capable and I can't see any change coming from the club anytime soon.

Lennon had his duration, once again did well, but can't see a return and would imagine another role in England or possibly overseas could be next in line. Martinez at Everton has tread on thin ice on many an occasion despite two domestic cup semi finals this season, and there's been a significant call for change at certain points of his tenure, so don't rule Lennon out of a role there. (Kenwright has made some bizarre appointments over time)

Biggest pile of Shyte I've read so far this year. ^^^^

1/ Know heaps of Celtic fans and the more vocal ones want Deila the fk out. Celtic, with their resources, should be comfortably winning the SPL. They were rank v Partick the other day. In fact Partick could've won it, had they not been so unlucky.

And 2/ Lennon to Everton? I'll be fkn shocked if that happens.
