Too old. And he'd get the Shyte knocked out of him playing up here.

And Berra wouldn't get a game at Hibs, Hanlon and MacGregor are doing fine. And he'd need to play well every game or he'd be constantly reminded of Jambo bastardness.

Wtf indeed. That is great news.

Nothing about Mick and Sellick......., only Lennon and Moyes have been linked, Hallamski.

People would be jumping in the freakin' Clyde if that ever came to pass.

Doesn't really sit well with our long and illustrious list of great managers also. Stein, Hay, (Billy) McNeill, Jansen, O'Neill .... Mick McCarthy.

Rumor has it David Moyes is the favorite to take over from Delia and while both Moyes and McCarthy are former Celtic players, you got to favor the former as eventual name in place.

Worth noting this rumor came from TWTD as Hallam Blue stated.

The same TWTD where a handful of users a few hours back were considering Roberto Martinez as potential new manager when or if McCarthy departs... Go figure.

I have a sneaky feeling that Moyes will be back at Everton if/when Martinez gets thrown out of the balloon.

Haven't you seen the new film, Hallam? Or "movie"? It's basically the sequel to "An Englishman in New York".

"An American Ipswich Town Evertonian Mingin' weegie Hoop in Chicago" ?

I remember watching Ray Reardon in the 70's on a b/w TV. That guy certainly knew how to pot blacks. And maybe pinks.

A friend of mine was desperate to be a snooker ref. Did all the courses, but couldn't get the hang of it: colour blind!

Herforder, you do realise that yourself, Hallam and me are walking on this ice here? Talking about the old days in the rumour thread. (That's Rumor thread, for Saint) A thread police nuggetheid will be reprimanding us shortly.

Speaking of colour blindness (color blindness for Saint)......, the ITFC midfield suffer from this also do they not?

On reflection, and having caught up with other press rumours, you're probably right!

Three English clubs are plotting a move for young Preston North End centre midfielder Josh Brownhill.

The midfielder, currently on loan at Barnsley, is said to be receiving interest from Ipswich Town, Fulham and Bristol City.

Brownhill was originally part of the Manchester United youth setup but then joined the Preston academy in which he had a very successful time.
