So, WHEN will Mick get the heave ho?

Personally I think Evans will HAVE to act before March, when the ST renewals come out. He simply cannot ignore the fact that Town fans are now voting in their droves, with their feet! True Evans would have a hefty wage bill to pay MM/TC for ending their contracts early. But I suspect he would lose a lot more in revenue from unsold ST'S.
What do you guys think?

I'm afraid I agree with Mach, Mick will see out his contract. Evans could not care less about the club. Tax write offs actually make him money.

Like others can't see him going anywhere before his contract is up.

I think that not only will he see out his present contract, but towards the end of it Evans will give him a new one.

lol - well it's not even strange to me. Evans has absolutely no interest in the club beyond it being a tax write-off against his main company profits - in MM he has an ally that will do a job on a shoestring, why wouldn't he want to keep him?

I agree with what you say, if Evans is using the club as a tax write-off then that point of view would be entirely logical.
However, If this does happen the reaction from supporters will be interesting to say the least.

Whilst I understand the angles people are coming from on this I don't agree with it all. I know we talk about MM has worked off a shoestring budget and that he hasn't really moaned about it, one thing I don't see MM as being is a yes man. He himself will not be happy and I think he will question if this is really worth it. Its not exactly a great advert for him is it?
A key comment from him in his post match interview was him saying that he's not happy with the atmosphere between him and the fans but the only way to change it is playing better and winning games, but he then admitted maybe its at the point now that even that wont change things. I think he's having a tough time and I don't think he will continue this way forever unless everything just suddenly clicks into place and we start playing a hell of a lot better. He probably looks at that team and knows Lawrence will leave, it was the same with Fraser when he had him. Without both of them we are bang average. He had to pluck one of them out year just for us to be competitive and this season even that's not enough.
He may well see this season out (maybe) but I think he will ask serious questions to himself if we are in a similar position at the end of the season, especially after bigging up this squad as best he's had during his time at ITFC.

You saying you think he could walk on his own accord before seasons end, Charlton?
Don't see that myself, and I can't see Mevans ending things. Mick will do enough to keep championship status, (put yer mortgage on that)......, but I can't see him, (or anyone else) taking the club towards the EPL. Norwich City play off was Micks peak.

I think Mick will eventually walk yes. Probably a mutual agreement thing. But not right now. I'm thinking at the end of the season, he will know things cant continue like this and it may be nice money for him but right now his reputation is taking a beating.
I don't see us getting relegated either, not a chance this season

sorry but that makes no sense at all.
If - as you say - he's worried about the effect on his reputation then he would go right now before it gets even worse, why would he wait until the end of the season knowing that nothing is going to change between now and then.
No, I think you're pretty wide of the mark on this one.

I think he knows if he can string 4 or 5 wins together things wont look so bad, I think 99% of us know that is extremely unlikely to happen. But I cant believe MM will hang around for next season and absolutely wouldn't get a new contract unless things changed hugely.
In any case ME wont be going anywhere so whatever happens were not likely to perform at top end of league

With the unambicious owner we have there's little chance he'll want to waste money on a severance payment, so as others have worked out we're most likely stuck with Mick until his contract runs out, however given there's unlikely to be a queue of talent looking to fill his boots it could be difficult to find a decent replacement.

I thought Everton were superb today, not seen a more enjoyable team to watch all season, in Tom Davies they have found a real star, what a superb performance from him.

I thought Spurs were brilliant yesterday. Dele Ali was brilliant... Kane should have had two hat tricks and the wing-backs were outstanding. All English lads mentioned and my neutral team to win the PL. Pocinetti is building something special there and it was great to watch.

Wait until they pull on an England shirt though.

John Stones made another mistake for the 4th goal.
For me a very overrated defender.

I know... but he's a BPCB ( ball playing CB) and they're in vogue now. Websters a BPCB and most likely our biggest asset. Websters made a couple of errors errors lately and there are times when you need to be a Row Z / Ball Playing Centre Back ( RZBPCB).

Please don't tell me this is another thing the pundits are going to be saying, Tang......, "ball playing centre backs"? Jaysus H, man.

For me he always gives the impression that there is a mistake there waiting to happen (Stones that is it, hopefully won't be the case with Webster

).

Re M E's investment plan, well going on what's being touted around in the transfer market, we've been putting in 6 & 7 figure sums for certain players like Ward etc. so I will wait and see if we do get one of the 6 or 7 figure players in, if we do then its a good sign that Marcus means what he has stated, also talk of Berra going back to the jumbo F***whit's, lets see if that happens

Maybe we should look at some of Everton,s young players and the squad players not getting a game. There is a surplus of good players there.
