No Berra, Chambers, Skuse - and no Lawrence as he will be gone in the summer.

That's what I would have gone with with exception of Webster cos I hope we keep him another season. But Kenlock ahead of Knudsen any day. As soon as Smith is fit he'll be back in there hopefully in place of Berra who has gone to pieces imo

A good point. I believe Berra cannot play in a back 3. It suits Chambers as he is a centre back but now has experience of going wide when necessary. Berra can't cope with it. I'd stick with a back 4. But once Smith is fit I think he could do the job on the left of a back 3.

But T return to the original post.... We don't have many options. Personnel is less important than tactics. Close down the opposition and don't be afraid to go forward.

We might be including S Taylor in the defensive mix, if he impresses sufficiently on trial next week. With Webster out, I don't believe any of them are really good enough to play in a back 3; which inevitably becomes a back 5, with our wing backs being pushed back, and not imposing themselves on th opposition.

I think he maybe another sick note. Not sure if he's even played that much recently . We'll see.
