Losing supporters week after week. Why ?
No more player statements "We let the fans down" No more McCarthy statements ("That third goal put the game to bed") It was the second goal @ Huddersfield that put that game to bed.
No more B/S excuses for running 5 yards behind the player you should be marking. No more tippy tappy sideway passes and soft tackles. No more defensive howlers. No more signing of half season loan players and unfit footballers.
SEARS
BERRA
CHAMBERS
DOULAS
SKUSE
BRU
WILLIAMS
KNUDSEN
McGOLDRICK
PITMAN
That is ten players we need to replace.

JR I would keep Sears, & Pitman, both can play better when the correct service and positions are implied, the rest can go, plus a few more, Oh and MM & TC as well, and next season we can start afresh, that's if we haven't gone into administration by then, as financially we are in deep trouble with a debt of £100 million to ME and spiralling out of control; plus the fans are fed up and staying away, and you cant blame them one bit, if ME does not write the £100 million debt off, then its probably administration and receivership in the very near future, and that folks is why we only spend appetences on players.

Ash, that is the biggest contradiction I have seen for ages mate, you have continually gone on about how we should be signing this player and that player and yet you are concerned the club could go into administration, any business owner will tell you if there is the slightest hint of that happening you stop buying so much as a newspaper for the staff room. I just don't understand where you are coming from as the last comment about that is why we are spending a pittance is common sense if your fears are correct.
Fans have every right to stay away, it is their money after all but they also need to understand that it impacts on the club in many ways, spending on players being the biggest one.

100 million ? Last we looked it was around the 65 figure ? Whatever the deal is, we're a pretty unattractive proposition right now not just for potential players but regards possible new ownership parties. I don't know what Marcus Evans' true agenda is with this club, the individual appears something of an enigma at times, but the situation would appear to deteriorate further before any actual improvement.
Regards players who could be surplus at this club, I don't get to see the team in action nowhere near other supporters who witness events week in week out for instance, so it's harder to provide proper evaluation, but have said for a long time our attacking options are nowhere near good enough and the midfield is not without it's concerns. Bialkowski would seem a good team addition and Gerken can be relied on, so with the goalkeeper front covered, it's the immediate defensive positions to forward line that requires most immediate attention. But as before, I don't get to see enough of the team to provide sufficient analysis and we simply don't have the funds available to bring in any players of caliber that could make the team competitive once more and able to challenge.

SJ last season I'm sure it was around £80 + million and growing, and just because we have last season shown a £6 million profit, that was soon eradicated due to costs for general running of the clubs staff & players wages and general running and maintenance at PR and Playford Road training ground, and many other outgoings, plus ME doesn't let that debt he took on when he brought us under his banner, go without an interest being added, so it is growing year on year, and although we have sold many quality players the debt never goes down, only grows, and we can only sustain the growth amount for so long, debtors not getting paid, until the FA step in and say hey we think your debt although controlled by owner Mr Evans, is getting way too high, the only solution would be for ME to say to the FA, I will wipe this debt from Ipswich's books and we start from zero, but as he gets huge tax reliefs against this debt through his group company, I don't see that happening any time soon, so that's why I fear him pulling the plug and leaving us to do a Luton, or Portsmouth, Wimbledon, etc. as which future investor buyer would want to pay £100 million for us, we might get lucky but I don't see it all the time we are struggling in the championship, if we were in the premiership it might be a different story, but hey ho lets see what happens by April.

For god's sake why are we still talking about this £80million or £100 million debt? It doesn't really exist. MM bough the Norwich Union debt for a fraction of it's worth and brought it into the books of the club at full value. It has value in his books but unless we are promoted it will NEVER be paid and I'm sure does not play any role in current financial planning of the club.

To be honest, all of them on that list need to go. They're average at best and it's because of their efforts on the pitch (or lack of efforts) that we are where we are now.
I feel sorry for MM - I mean I still think his tactics are awful, but I can see where he is coming from. He knows he will get no financial backing from the owner, and I think professional pride means he will still try to get the best results possible which is why the tactics and team selections are all over the place. Basically he's got a thankless task, trying to get results with a squad of has-beens.
