Re: Message for Sunday
See MM's comments in TWTD about his surprise regarding animosity and hatred between the clubs
http://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news ... -animosity
In particular, this comment below.
"He added: “I was surprised four and a bit years ago, the first year we played in it because a very lovely old lady expressed the usual wishes, ‘You better win against them... the scum’, she said.
“And I said ‘Wow! So, if we lose all the others and we beat them twice you’d be happy, would you?’. ‘We’ve got to beat them’.
“I couldn’t believe it was what I thought was a nice old lady that had said it to me. I was quite surprised at that."
Hallam, I consider you to be a vivacious, youthful type - but you wouldn't be that "lovely old lady" would you?

Re: Message for Sunday
Nope. Definitely not me.
Sadly I've spent the last week at Ipswich Hospital in a room 24/7, with my mum who has sadly died.
Some things are just bigger than football or rivalry, Tang.
May the best team win tomorrow. But I won't be there.
RIP "Betty".....I will love you and miss you for ever.

Was sorry to learn of the above news. Sincere condolences and thoughts are with you and family at this most difficult time.
As Herforder mentioned, words after such an event seem at times empty, but hope to see you back participating with us once again sometime soon.
