It may have gone unnoticed that former player Marcus Stewart has been involved in a charity endeavor just recent to raise money for a chosen illness. In short, both Stewart and partner are to run this years London Marathon on the 23rd of next month in support of the Rett UK charity and the sponsorship target has now been met. As a former player of this club who played a pivotal part in obtaining Town's best season in 20 years back in 2000 - 01, it was with little hesitation that a personal donation was provided and not only that, both Bristol Clubs of whom Stewart was involved provided links on their respective fan pages for fans to participate. I'm sure people will take the opportunity to wish Mr Stewart every success in the upcoming event and the money raised will provide a substantial difference within it's intended purpose.
Considered putting this forward some days back but didn't think the owner would be in favor or that enough donations would be forthcoming. The important thing right now is the target has been reached.
