Very good news, a big plus for next season and yet again dispels all the nonsense that he wanted to leave etc.

I think at one point he did want to leave, perhaps reluctantly. It was quite obvious that he was very close to going to Forest and after that interview he did it sounded like he wanted to leave as he felt undervalued by the club (as in the owner as oppose to the manager)
All in all im very happy hes staying and got a 2 year contract rather than just the 12 month option, we need some kind of stability and I was hoping he would be it. IF (and its looking a big if unfortunately) we do change our manager then I think it was imperative Chambers stayed

Good news that, now get rid of Berra, slot Webster along side Chambo with Spence and Kenlock and that's the back 4 sorted, keep smudge in reserve, Knudsen will have to vastly improve to get his LB position, gives opposing wingers far too much space, needs to learn at closing down his player quicker.

I wouldn't guarantee it if MM is still here.ashfordblue wrote:: Knudsen will have to vastly improve to get his LB position.

I'm thinking that Kenlock will have to play consistently out of his skin to keep Knudsem out of the team. Could be that Knudsen will start next season when fit... too early when that's months away.Andym wrote:I wouldn't guarantee it if MM is still here.ashfordblue wrote:: Knudsen will have to vastly improve to get his LB position.
That's what pisses me off about MM's selection policy .... some favourites can consistently under-perform and get a guaranteed season in the first team. I know some players have and deserve more credit in the bank than others, but it's not healthy for competition and bringing through youth. Don't think Douglas benefited from this... it pretty much destroyed him here.

To be fair Kenlock was poor today. Hes had some good games but also some very poor ones defensively
