Not the friendliest of draws, would have preferred Barnet or Cheltenham, but maybe Palace won't be too interested.

At least we have a home draw.

The bloke picking the home or away couldn't tell white from red so ITFC was drawn at as was the next 3or4 teams but they carried on and said nothing

North and South sections ...,, Birmingham City in the South Section, Aston Villa in the North! Understand it's their opposition that's determining this, but that could confuse some people!

V Palace @ PR or their place is a fairly Shyte tie. Would've preferred smaller opposition to reach the rounds containing the big guns.

Blackburn v Burnley easily the tie of the round.

Can't cope with Town being in the second round! Crass, incompetent but, in it's own way, bizzarely amusing. Good thing that John Salako isn't a snooker referee, or that Sky wins the National Lottery contract!

Pity we're not at home; although for MM it sort of is. Better, though, than a trip to Carlisle - or anywhere oop North that you need a passport to get to!

Because of our poor league position last year we were unseeded so couldn't have played those teams anyway. We could only draw a premier league team or a top half championship team. I guess sometimes when you play prem teams in this cup they put out a much weakened side, we may change our side around too but I give us half a chance at palace. When you play lower league teams they usually put out a fairly strong team as the money from each round is so important and they hope to have the chance to get a prem draw at some stage.

Would have preferred the game at home but oh well nothing we can do about that. Watched the draw and what a c*ck up that was. First round they drew Charlton twice, this round they got the first 4 fixtures wrong, is this what happens when you sponsor a cup with a foreign energy drink company! (although they cant really be blamed for Solako being thick!)

First and foremost relief to get through the first round. This club doesn't go well with cup competition and to see the team in a subsequent round is something of a rarity. Don't believe we've played Crystal Palace in any cup game since 1996 when we won 4 - 1 at Portman Road (on route to the last eight) if correct. That seems an eon ago but would settle for a similar score this time around.

Depends on who wants it more on the night, The South London outfit are a good cup side with recent history so maybe it'll go their way. Would obviously want to progress as far as possible, if they can get their asses in gear for one evening, then there's little reason why they can't replicate that achievement with this game and potential following rounds.
