I'd never been interested in women's football until the FA appointed my next door neighbour in the UK as Head of Woman's Football. Since then I've followed the England Team matches and was quite impressed with their performances in the recent Euros. I can't say the same about League matches which still look pretty shabby but I guess this can only improve.

Until tonight I had no idea we had an Ipswich Town Ladies FC and have no idea where they play their fixtures although it looks like their home ground could be based in Felixstowe which would be strange ?

Anyway, all that said let's hope they can stuff the canaries which would be a good pre runner ahead of the real fixture in a couple of weeks time.

Finding the result on the internet is almost impossible, so high is the interest in women's football.

Had a look at the EDP site - they usually report on the Norwich Women's team games. Guess what? Not a mention!
