The shrill blast of the whistle and the pointing finger of the referee stopped the player in his tracks.
The referee beckoned him over and produced notebook, pencil and yellow card.
It's a yellow card for you,' said the referee, waving the card at the footballer.
You know what you can do with your yellow card!' shouted the player.
You're too late, mate,' replied the referee. 'There's three red cards there already!

In 2018, England seemed like
Just another foreign league.
But it wasn't, it was
Different in many ways

As so were those
Who did the refereeing
In Continental Europe
The average age of the
referee was 38

[Chorus]
In England, he was nineteen
In England, he was nineteen
In England, he was nineteen
In England, he was nineteen
n-n-n-n-n nineteen.

The heaviest fighting
Of the past ten minutes
Continued to escalate twenty-five yards from the touchline.

I really wasn't sure
What was going on

n-n-n-n-n nineteen.
n-n-n-n-n nineteen.
n-n-n-n-n nineteen.

In England, the professional referee typically served a twelve minute multiple choice exam.
And was exposed to hostile anthems almost everyday

n-n-n-n-n nineteen.
n-n-n-n-n nineteen.
n-n-n-n-n nineteen.

In England , a Football association spokesman
Said today, more than 720 fouls
Were wrongly issued last week in that important penalty area
In all of the leagues of England.
The opposition lost a total of
720 goals

All those who remember a wrong decision......
They won't forget what they've seen
Demoralising effects of men in their prime
By a ref........, Who’s average age was nineteen

According to a senior refereeing Administration study
Half of the Players in the English leagues suffered from what psychiatrists call.....
This referee is a f**king wanker syndrome.
Many players complain of alienation, rage, or guilt
Some succumb to suicidal thoughts of crucial semi finals
Eight to ten years after some previously mentioned semi finals....
Almost eight-hundred-thousand men
Are still reliving the wanker in the blacks decisions.

None of them should receive any honour at all.

Well, the ten point gap at the top of the table is almost looking like a done deal. Mathematically, only Nicscreamer could possibly catch Bluemike at the top. But it’s a competition that is still 100% in your funny minds, so please keep on bringing that humour to the fore so we can have a laugh.

For the record, one picture for this Reading game and then two pictures for the Middlesborough game, concluding the season....... and then we can have a name to be etched onto THE DON CUP.
Couple of the scoring guys working at a Surf Camp in Queensland have agreed to go through THE DON CUP thread and come up the 1, 2 & 3 captions of the year. Thank you Scotty Boy & Jamie, (Jambo b*stard!)

I urge Patthegimp to participate on any of these final pictures! Get rid of that wooden spoon dude! :D

We've got it sussed though. Suffer the pain and misery late October after a qualifying campaign. It's a miserable time of year anyway......, starting to get cold, dark nights etc. We really don't want to be ruining a summer every four years!

You put your right arm up
Your left arm down
You run around in circles
And you fall to the ground
You pull a funny face like Angela Merkle
That's what's it all about

OOOOOh were going to Brexit
OOOOOh were going to Brexit
OOOOOh were going to Brexit

That's what's it all about
