Still getting a giggle that one. According to the judges, took ages to trawl through ALL of the caption answers, and it was close, ....., but we think first place was decided after that Forest game itself. Having an immense dislike for War-Fanny amongst the predominantly Hibee judges did help!

Another awesome season of captions, it’s been a pleasure to be part of it. Adding humour to any situation has always been my goal in life, (thanks for that, Dad) and adding humour to the horrible “Mick out” season that you guys have just endured has been very enjoyable. Let’s hope we can all laugh at jokes AND be happy with the football next season.

First of all, commiserations to Nicscreamer. Two years in a row as runner up. That is a tough one to take. But PLEASE, keep on taking part. The scoring is based on a group of scores, and you scored “5” in my book in a lot of those weeks.

Two future potential winners of this prize, based on scores, and amount of times they take part, are Number 9 & Tangfastic. Very limited in their participation, but statistically big scorers. 9 certainly is on my dry humour wavelength.

And so to our Champion for 2017/18. Taking controversial to its very limit at times, and being absolutely hilarious with it most weeks, BLUEMIKE
