Sacked by Forest, failed yet again even with mega bucks to spend, and to think some fans wanted the useless pile of crap here.

Bit of a harsh sacking imo. I think that's a work in progress. Thought forest looked ok against us but just were sloppy at the back. Also how much has he spent? Couple of million? I didn't think he had that much money.

Id still take him at Ipswich, I dont think he's a bad manager. Its not like forest are down in the relegation scrap

Spent Six Million to date Charlton, not the biggerst spending team I grant you but compared to the likes of us a fortune, he would never do it on our budget, not a cat in hells chance. Yes he did ok at unfancied, unfashionable Brentford but still wasn't deemed the way forward by the owner which must say something about him. I wouldn't want him here, no way.

Well I can remember a time ago when Dyche was mentioned that people on here called him all sorts! Look how he turned out.

Not someone who generates any level of significant interest. May have been mentioned on occasion as a potential replacement for McCarthy, but if he was any good or that expensive, would have heard more about his apparent achievements or notable exploits.

Who was it that Middlesbrough discarded just recent. There was talk the owner (Gibson ?) had made an error or wrong judgment, it was a harsh decision etc. Not saying we should make enquiries, but it is another name out there to consider. All said, will Marcus Evans even do anything, there has been no confirmation of McCarthy even leaving at any specified date also.

He’s never been on my shopping list, but then neither was Mick McCarthy.

Personally I think his sacking was a little premature, ffs they’ve only taken 2 points less than we have since the end of November and we wouldn’t dream of sacking Mick McCarthy.

The only option if Mick goes is obvious:

Nigel Clough - worked miracles on a budget
