Bialkowski - done deal?

Post by Chambo's Fist Pump » Sat Jan 13, 2018 8:46 am

'Calf strain' according to Mick

Utter bobbins, looks to me like a deal has been done and sadly that's any chance of us getting anywhere this season over.

Nothing left to say than thanks for everything Bart Man x

Spoke to s friend today who had nothing to do with football. A close friend of theirs told him they saw Bart at Milsoms on Thursday with an ( his?) agent.

Like you say, calf strain my as*!! Evans just doing his usual once a season asset cash in.

Had to google "Milsoms".

Maybe he was just out having a pint, Hallam? You can still lift a pint with a calf strain. :D

Hope he didn't drop that. That'd be a total waste.

Liverpool need a new keeper as much as Palace and have far more money to spend, £6m and be done with, tho to be fair i’d much prefer to keep Bart at Portman Road.

100% agree. Need to hold on to bart but i fear he will go. So much for building a team. As soon as we have someone decent in any position we sell them. We only manage to hold on to the older players, any young promising talent is snapped up for a small amount which just plugs the financial loss for another season

If he goes he goes, I am one of the few not overly bothered to be honest, plenty of good keepers out there with bags of experience.

I agree Mike, but I would hope any funds received would be invested in new outfield playing staff.

You mean Bart for anyone but Hart?

Was he taking the p@ss, or just hiding his incontinence problem?

And for how long have you been blind?

IMO he's the best keeper in this division and a player we should be holding on to

Im not so blind to see he is one of the worst kickers i have ever seen or that he can't command his box, doesnt come for anywhere near enough crosses and corners and has very average distribution where he often plays defenders into trouble with ridiculous roll outs to players who are not in a position to do so, apart from that he's fab, i actually think it's those who see him as the dogs bollocks that are blind, shot stopping one of the best, everything else average.

It’s notable tha no othe PL Club is sniffing around Bart. Bit like Rhodes really. Despite his prowess in CC he hasn’t ever been seen as a PL striker has he. Same is probably true of Bart in the Goalkeeping field.

As I said the other week any talk of getting 10 million for him was overly optimistic to say the least.
If he does go can only see us getting 3-4 million for him at the most. As Mike said great shot stopper but other parts of his game certainly need a lot of work on.

Unfortunately clubs like ours only survive by selling players on and £3m-£4m for a player who cost us nothing is good business. Whilst he’s definitely saved us a few points and i’d prefer to see him stay he’s definitely not indispensable.
