I’m new to that one. Any link to a written report or a video to this, Ash?
This was something he said in his pre. Bristol city press conference. Also told fans to be careful as the more grief he gets the more belligurent he will be

That could have been taken as an off-the-cuff, humorous comment - but he knows that would get attention. Just another occasion where he should say nothing. Understand the pressure on him and he feels he has not been appreciated, but many times he should keep his mouth shut. If he feels him and his players are getting treated harshly, then he can bite back and express that - but don't think he should suggest that he'll make decisions for the club based on fan behaviour. It feels like he's trying to discipline and punish the fans - or just trying to wind them up. Either way - less is more.

Can someone post that TWTD link of Micks pre Bristol City comments, please? I mean it’s there but it won’t post unless logged in to it, and I’m not a member of it.

That’s an intentional thing on my part due to resisting the temptation to post there.

Surely you recognise he's doing it on purpose ? His decision is made.

Who knows anymore. I don't trust a word out of any of them. If we won a few games between now.and end of season perhaps would announce he's staying. Odds are that he will leave but I still can't say that with any certainty.

Evans has a lot to explain. I'll be interested to read this letter of intent! Hopefully it's tangible so he can be held to account over It!

Watched that entire 20 minutes. He reminds me of a guy I used to work with in the 90s. Having to almost spoon feed him delicately with the questions because he might just get up and walk out at any minute. It’d be completely impossible to get into a war of words with him because he will have an answer for anything and everything.

For me, in terms of attitude, he’s only really at fault for his “i’ll Just stay for longer” shyte. He needs to stop that pish. It’s not a raging fire at the moment but he’s gradually adding fuel with that nonsense.

He is a very loyal man indeed, (to Mevans at least) but he is a lot more stubborn than I realised.

Did anyone ask him post BC game what he thought was going to happen putting Ben Morris on in the 90 + 4 minute?

But....... for me, my tradesman who I served my four year apprenticeship with had a famous saying and I think, (generally) it sums up Micks position perfectly.

Old Eddie (RIP): Mick, ye can only pi$$ with the c0ck you’ve got, son!

For anyone overly offended........ it’s true!

True, but situation is we’re not getting relegated nor promoted.... what’s not to lose. Using c*ck analogy, Ben Morris might not have a big c*ck now, but with a bit of exposure and gentle handling it might grow to become a more impressive c*ck. In MM’s world... he wants to always have ( or be) the biggest c*ck. c*cks with potential get slapped down.

Definitely agree that handling Ben Morris’ c0ck gently could grow it into something fantastic....., but the 90 + 4 min could only really achieve a semi at best.

Ahhhh, a semi? Remember those, Ipswich fans?

Marko I personally think he just wanted to get Morris on the pitch for a few minutes. I'm pretty certain we will see more of him in the remaining 'dead rubbers' - INNUENDO ALERT , GO ON DO YOUR BEST!

Only achieving the semi can certainly produce a dead rubber.

Mick: “Ok, Ben, get on there, son, .... get something from Waggers and burst the net with it.”
Ref: (sounds whistle) Brrr, Brrr, Brrrrrrrrrrr
Mick: “Anything to say for yourself Ben? You done fk all out there.”

I was happy with the game after the first half hour
But heaven knows I'm miserable now

We were looking for a goal, and then there was no goal
And heaven knows I'm miserable now

In 90 minutes
Why do I give valuable time
To players who are completely shot shy?

Two glaring chances entwined pass us by
And heaven knows Sears makes me miserable now

I was looking to make a sub, and then I made a sub
And heaven knows Morris is miserable now

In the derby game
Oh, I thought I gave some valuable time
To people who laughed their asses off on SKY?

What I asked of them at the end of the day
They created what should only be flushed

"Oh, you've been in the club too long" the fans said
And I naturally stayed!!!

In this job
Why do I smile
At people who know I'm taking the p*$$

I wasn't happy with the game after the complete first hour
And heaven knows I'll go defensive now.

"Oh, you've been in this half too long" Bart said
And then he naturally flapped.

In my life
Oh, why do I give valuable time
To players who will never ever shine……..

And heaven knows Ipswich fans are miserable now!

LOL...nice work, Marko.

Could be a seed planted for Mick: The Musical ... songs by The Smiths ( not Tommy or Chris).

Mick does look as if he has a thorn in his side...

‘The gaffer with the thorn in his side
Behind the hatred there lies
A murderous desire for love

How can they look into my eyes
And still they don't believe me
How can they hear me say those words
And still they don't believe me
And if they don't believe me now
Will they ever believe me?
And if they don't believe me now
Will they ever believe me?’

These international breaks are too long... got to pass the time.
