Didsy
Also leaving - no new contract offered or, presumably, requested.
Technically gifted, his time with us blighted by a succession of long term injuries, making him a very expensive part timer. No doubt he’ll be looking to move nearer to his family, and there will undoubtedly be takers for him. But where he ends up will more likely be dictated by money. In hindsight we should probably have cashed in our chips on him a couple of seasons ago.
But his and LH’s departures will hopefully create some financial reinvestment headroom. Isn’t that right, Marcus?
However, wish Didsy well, and thanks for your contribution to the team and Club.

Re: Didsy
For such a talented player, I can’t see anyone bothered that he’ll be leaving.
If he’s out for the season, then fine.... just part of the Didsy story... but he’ll put in a 3 or 4 game spell where we start to think we can build a team around him ( and Chambo, Skuse, Knudsen) and he’s playing really well... then he’ll pick up a niggle or he goes off form ... and then he’s nothing more than a crocked, over-paid waste of space. Harsh on the bloke, but hope he picks up a good contract elsewhere where’ll he’ll be someone else’s problem. Great to watch when on form, but you always end up disappointed. Good luck, Didsy.

Good luck to him
A lot of flashy touches when he was fit but never made that much of a difference IMO

Was always going to happen after latest injury. If he could of stayed fit could of been very good. All the best at Nottingham Forest, When you re sign for them.

Definitely talented but hardly on the pitch.
I think there is some confusion over the Leicester thing but they never actually made an official bid!! And even if they had there was uproar at the time with most asking ME to show some ambition and not cash in.

Costly NHS player he's a taker not giver. Watch, he will sign somewhere else and have a stellar season. It's time for a shake up and new blood in the team..... some players have got accustomed to picking up a wage with little or no input

Skuse was bloody awesome on Sunday as well as Sears.
Amazing what happens when you get rid of an ultra defensive minded manager innit lol x

Re: Didsy
Clearly he does - at the moment with so many midfielders un-available, he's probably right, too.Bluemike wrote:Skuse is a important part of the team, Klug clearly thinks so too.
But once our full complement is available, and possibly an attack-minded manager in charge, I can see Skuse being surplus to requirements.

Re: Didsy
No great loss, we got others forwards with better ability. McGoldrick could put on a show or perform when required but those instances were too few and far between. Yes you take into consideration his time on the inactive roster but as before any showing of potential when fit was too infrequent to be considered a reliable unit of the team.
May provide a better service with a different employer / team environment but was never going to work out here. Surprised to see him last so long at the club to some extent before being allowed to leave.

Bart will be the next to go, being top keeper for the sky rated championship team this season, ME will cash in you watch

And so he should, absolutely no sense in keeping him and losing him for nothing in Twelve months, good sensible business.ashfordblue wrote: Bart will be the next to go, being top keeper for the sky rated championship team this season, ME will cash in you watch

Re: Didsy
Yes, I think he should probably be sold myself if match reports are accurate. Great shot stopper but too many other areas that are questionable. He's actually reminding me of Daryl Murphy having that one freaky good season. That'll be the same with Bart. New keeper should be quite high up in the new bosses priority list because Gerken is Shyte.
