Ah so Waghorn could well end up at Boro then. If Vydra can't agree terms - seems to be a possibility.

There is an article on a rival site ( vitalfootball) which suggests there are rumours that another club has come in for the Shrewsbury 2 and one of the players has failed a medical. Could well be scaremongering.
I have to admit ... you would have thought this should have been tied up by now... wearing the Ipswich shirts in a photo.. loving the training facilities, etc.

I've read that Tang and I think it is crap, that site has always been a load of cobblers so hopefully the same applies.

Re: Transfer Window Rumours 2018/19
Looks like when Derby returned for Waghorn they were already in early discussions about Vydra to Burnley. This now is the top of the chain that leads down to Nolan & Nsiala and maybe others for us. In which case Vydra completing his move is IMO the signal for all the others to be confirmed.tangfastic wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 6:10 pmThere is an article on a rival site ( vitalfootball) which suggests there are rumours that another club has come in for the Shrewsbury 2 and one of the players has failed a medical. The worry is if Vydra's move breaks down at the last minute and there is not time for Boro to get their arse into gear before the deadline, all the moves might just not happen.
Then we would end up with Waghorn and no Nolan, Nsiala, Tilt or Jackson.......... Nightmare

I blame Frank Lampard. Bloody novice. Spent too much time at the World Cup when he should have being doing his buying/ selling.Dubai Blue wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 6:53 pmLooks like when Derby returned for Waghorn they were already in early discussions about Vydra to Burnley. Actually last update from EADT suggests the Shrewsbury 2 deal is nearing a conclusion.

all good here ta and Donna says Hi, a fresh start for the Town and I really think this new manager will come good given time.hallamblue wrote: ↑Mon Aug 06, 2018 10:33 pmHi John, yes I am thanks. I hope you are well and looking forward to Wolves new season. I’m Just really glad the season is back on again. I’ve high hopes for Hurts at Town, but feel we must get the defence sorted , or we will be in trouble. I’d dont think Hurst will tolerate too many weeks out injured by some of our players, ( Bishop, Adeyemi, Huws), I can see them being offloaded.goldandblack wrote: ↑Sun Aug 05, 2018 10:28 pmheard Waghorn has signed for Derby. hijacked from Middlesbrough......hope your keeping well Lizhallamblue wrote: ↑Sat Aug 04, 2018 11:47 amWaggy soon to be a Boro boy then?

Re: Transfer Window Rumours 2018/19
On and On and bloody On.Town are now set to confirm the signings of Shrewsbury duo Jon Nolan and Toto Nsiala on Wednesday.
The deals are all but done and there's been no hitch but the Blues have been waiting on the completion of Martyn Waghorn’s departure to Derby County before finalising the £2 million joint-move.
The cash from the striker’s sale will help fund Town’s recruitment of midfielder Nolan and central defender Nsiala from the Shrews.
Waghorn has agreed terms at Pride Park and completed his medical this evening. But given the lateness of the hour that deal is also now expected to be formallly confirmed on Wednesday.
The Rams will pay the Blues an initial £5 million, of which £475,000 will go to Waghorn’s former club Rangers via a 10 per cent of profit sell-on clause in the £250,000 deal which saw the 28-year-old join Town a year ago today. The overall fee could potentially rise to £7.5 million.

The Sevco get £475K? Hope they’re wise with their money and don’t do what the now defunct Glasgow Rangers would’ve done...... bought a £4M player with their £475K

TWTD article above said they would sign Tuesday Morning now it's Wednesday? To be honest only Ipswich Town will know what is going on, it's just annoying they don't keep the fans informed.Bluemike wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 10:03 pmOn and On and bloody On.Town are now set to confirm the signings of Shrewsbury duo Jon Nolan and Toto Nsiala on Wednesday.

Re: Transfer Window Rumours 2018/19
I’m not so much worried about informing fans, but surely they should be getting these deals done sooner.
There’s obviously other factors... difficult owners of selling clubs, waiting to sell players to get money, agents probably agreeing a deal with a club/player then straight onto the phone to another club trying to get a better deal, etc.
I just get the impression we’re hanging on waiting for money to be put into our bank or just trying to be too cute by getting a player as cheap as possible. The longer it goes on... we’re most likely to have to pay more closest to deadline day or even lose out.
It’s Evans money, but if he wants to support Hurst then maybe he has to put in some of his own money before Hurst has a chance to generate money from sales. We’re not talking 10 million, just enough to push a deal over the line.
It could all work out well in the next couple of days, but everything seems to be taking so long.

Re: Transfer Window Rumours 2018/19
Looks very optimistic for the Shrews 2 and Jackson today. Been there before though.
Going to Tilt.... I think we need another CB and rumours suggest that the Oystons want to hang on to him. Big things going on there with possible takeover and not sure the Oystons have any long term plan for Blackpool or any interest in putting money back into the club for re-investment. I’m sure if they could persuade ME to smuggle the Tilt money into their own personal bank accounts it would happen.
Would be great to get Tilt, but if we’re getting nowhere with those crooks ... we should be looking for another centre back.

Re: Transfer Window Rumours 2018/19
I’m not sure if it helps or hinders after Gary Bowyer walked out on Blackpool yesterday and left them managerless after just one game of the new season.

Re: Transfer Window Rumours 2018/19
There could be a thousand good reasons for Bowyer to walk out having to work with the Oystons.
Having read some Blackpool fans comments, Bowyer, reasonably, was OK to let Tilt go and then re-invest the money, but the Oystons wanted to keep him... for whatever reason... perhaps spite towards the club or potential new owners.
ME has been dealing with these scumbags for quite a number of weeks and must be at the point of not bothering... but the player has put in a transfer request and didn’t play at the weekend (albeit down to Bowyer), so maybe player power could prevail.

As a lot of people suspected, Waggy signs for Derby, The Shrews pair announced as signings for town.
Now Reports Jackson reported to be on the way to talk to Town.
Things are moving Guys and Girls. Now to get the other 2 sorted and we'll be on our way

Jackson looks pretty much a cert. Out of Windass and Tilt ... I would go for Tilt as we could do with another CB.
Would we have to move on Garner to bring in Windass?
I truly can’t see Garner being a starter and I don’t see him being a happy camper being just a squad player.

Re: Transfer Window Rumours 2018/19
I would love Tilt, he is the final piece of the jigsaw for me, that said I have a feeling that a surprise signing may well happen, if Garner goes it could well be Windass, just get Jackson confirmed and we are nearly set for the long haul ahead.

I was thinking Toto Nsiala sounds more like one of those obscure Europa League qualifying teams that no one has ever heard of.
