Looks pretty decent. The obvious comment is always going to refer whether a League 2 player can make it in the Championship.... but we’ll have to wait and see. Hurst also tried to buy him in January for Shrewsbury.... so he’s obviously been a target for him for a while. Free, 24 years old and hopefully eager to push on.

Re: Jordan Roberts
Truth, is though, Webster only plays about 25 games a season ... for us and for Pompey. We were light in defence when we had both Tommy Smith and Webster because they were injury-prone. Good chance we’re going to spend some Webster money on an experienced CB, another wide player and maybe a striker.hallamblue wrote:Nothing to lose . Anyone know why he couldn't get in to the Crawley side towards the end of the season?

The thing is as Dubai said elsewhere Webster has already been replaced by Chalobah, it looks like Paul Hurst is after One maybe even Two more CB's, no need to panic, it's only June, we don't normally sign anyone until August !!

Re: Jordan Roberts
Crawley forum said he sulked after Jan and was disinterested. Ended up with him being dropped.Bluemike wrote:Probably cus he refused the offer of a new contract ?Ricco wrote:Anyone know why he couldn't get in to the Crawley side towards the end of the season?

We have fans who spout rubbish so I will judge him for myself.
