Gwion Edwards.....next signing ?

Town have agreed a fee with Peterborough United for winger Gwion Edwards.
The 25-year-old has been on the Blues’ radar since May when they were linked with the former Wales U21 international along with Nottingham Forest and Bristol City.
Last month Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony tweeted that Blues owner Marcus Evans had contacted the League One club’s director of football Barry Fry with Edwards widely believed to be the reason for that call.
Earlier this afternoon MacAnthony revealed that the former Swansea and Crawley man had set his heart on a move to a Championship club, who we can confirm are Town. The precise fee is currently unconfirmed but is understood to be a signficant sum.
Talks regarding personal terms are set to take place over the next few days with Edwards looking set to become new manager Paul Hurst’s third Blues signing.
I cant pretend I know much about this guy other than a fair few clubs were keen to sign him so if we get this one over the line it will be to our credit to beat the others to him. That would make Four wingers (Ward, Roberts & Rowe), assuming they are all staying. A couple of CB's now please.

48 appearances over the last Two seasons and Sixteen goals is a pretty damn good strike rate for a wide man.

48 appearances in 2 seasons is also not a massive amount of games. Posh fans say he will be fantastic for half a season then busy the physios for the rest. Hoping Hursts fitness regime makes him more durable as posh fans think he is easily good enough for championship football.

Is this a bluemike personal joke/ wind up or is someone grumpy?
I consider a rumour to be ‘the sun reports’ or ‘sky sources’. This is an accepted bid confirmed by the players parent club and therefore not so much a rumour....

I believe I offered you to meet up several times in the past, you really should get down to a game, would be nice to put a face to a name, I always find it better than just chatting on here. Better still come over to Rotherham on the 11th, not far from you.

That is my face and that's my name.The only time we were supposed to met was old Trafford in the League Cup but you must of got lost in the crowd because I did look for you.

Good news. Hope he stays fit.... stand out player by all accounts from Posh fans... just he’s a bit injury-prone.
Need to 1 or 2 decent CB’s in... I think that’s the main priority.

Suits me, I did a lot of amateur boxing when I was younger.
