Does anyone know when the squad numbers are released? It must be soon seeing as we kick off in Two weeks !! It will possibly be an indicator as to who is "in favour " and who maybe isn't.

Town have announced their squad numbers for the season ahead with new signings Gwion Edwards, Jordan Roberts and Trevoh Chalobah handed numbers seven, 19 and six respectively.

Other than that, they are largely the same as last season, although Teddy Bishop will wear 15 rather than the seven given to Edwards with Tom Adeyemi switching to 24 as a result, while Tristan Nydam has moved up to 16 from 22.

Conor McKendry has been given 28 this season having been the club’s number 41 last year and keeper Harry Wright gets a number for the first time, 29.

Numbers two, five, 10 and 11 are currently free, although 10 may well be ear-marked for Ellis Harrison, whose move from Bristol Rovers is expected to be confirmed later today.
