Would it have been 3 games even if we didn't appeal? I think it would

This has to be a home win, surely it's our time! I believe this game is the biggest Derby for many years and I include the play off's 3 seasons ago. If we were to lose I fear the honeymoon period will be well and truly over and would test the fans optimism Moving forward.

i do believe the players will stand up and be counted, this game provides a great opportunity to get our first win. No longer can it be said we are bedding in new players, they take time to gel etc, when Peterbourgh have got 9 new players and have been flying.

2-1 to the town

Every time I see “Chalobah” written down, I think “Shalamar” and then start singing dodgy 80s soul anthems. Every feckin time.

shame as that may persuade some people to watch it on TV rather than attend in person, some will make a late decision on it. For me though I would never want to watch this fixture on TV, think ive been to every home and away derby day since we lost 2-0 quite a few years ago at Carrow Road when Huckerby and Mackay scored.

I must say my stomach is already starting to churn. I know as soon as I step out onto the stand and see that yellow sh*te in the corner my hairs will stand on end.

Think I need a lie down already!

 SUPERB, Ando! That’s what derbies are all about. I’m the same leading up to the Edinburgh derby. There is no better feeling. I’ll need to get back to another Old Farm Derby.

I'm the same Ando, im really pumped for this already, this has to end well this time, can I take another defeat to that pile of sh*te !!! You kinda want to believe that it is our time and that it is written in the stars that this will be Hurst's first win but all too often something conspires against us.

Thought I would wait until the end of the transfer window to make my prediction for this one.

A game between 2 poor teams from what could be realistically called the footballing backwater of England at the moment. Even Sky don't consider it worth showing (I know it's on Red Button but so are all games outside Saturdays).

PH seems intent on stamping his own brand on our team, but it's getting ridiculous now. Too little class, too little Championship pedigree, too little attacking intent.

Naaaarwich are almost as poor as us, BUT.......they have scored twice as many goals.

Ipswich 1 - Naaaaarwich 3

It's tough knowing what team he will go with but my guess is this ;-

..........................Bart.............................

Donacien.....Chambo.....Pennington....Knudsen

.................Chalobah....Edun....................

Edwards.............Nolan...............Graham

....................Harrison.........................

Not a bad shout.

Graham would be the biggest question mark for me because of fitness. Could be a coin toss between him and Walters.

I'm not sure if Pennington is Left sided or not tbh although you would like to think with Chambo being Right sided we would bring in a Left sided CB

Chambo has been playing OK on the left side so far this season so I don't mind whether Pennington is left or right.

Yes he has but would be nice to have a natural Left sided CB, Curtis Tilt anyone?
