I actually wrote a song for the caption competition using the tune of Hey Jude but I changed it Saint Jude, had I posted it I would have to have banned myself judging by the thread so far even though im convinced SJ would have found it funny......I think.

I don't get what all the fuss is about. I've not seen anything from anyone that has crossed the line. The Delia thing is just part and parcel of the derby, I'm sure nobody wishes her any real harm. Think everyone needs a chill pill and stop taking everything so seriously. Biggest joke of all is that this forum got so desperate they had to ask Marko to be a moderator! How did I miss that one.

Re: East Anglia Derby Preview & Matchday Thread
I have a bad feeling about this game. Norwich always seem to perform well against us. The incentive for Ipswich is to get the first win of the season and against the dreaded foe. I'm going for a 2 -2 tie Ipswich will still be in search of their first win.

Barmy you forget check your post on 20 august 2016 you wrote on caption for norwich gamebarmy billy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 29, 2018 11:59 amI quite agree with your comments about Delia, SJ.saint jude wrote: ↑Wed Aug 29, 2018 12:37 amCan't some allow Smith a break ? She's a harmless 70 something grandparent I'd imagine, not really warranted some of the derogatory comments seen on here. Has at least the best interests of her club at heart, can't dispute her commitment, something to be applauded.
Thought maybe a drawn game in this although events of this nature are totally unpredictable. About damn time a victory is due over those, this would seem a good opportunity. Robust opposition here in derby games, they never make it easy.
Ipswich 2 Norwich 2
They are crude, offensive & most of all NOT FUNNY. Some posters should be ashamed to write such offensive drivel.
I knew i shouldn't have swallowed it and oooh mick walker after all these years. ...
talk to about pot calling the kettle.. .crude offensive you decide.

I’ve got to admit, something was niggling away at me regarding rude messages and you Barmy...... a post that I found hilarious, and that was it! The “swallow” post...... you scored 5 points. It’s all “come” back to me, thanks for that Blueblood.
Anything to add to this Barmy before it’s dropped forever and we can all go back to being scumbags with no class?

I am not surprised you are offended, Mike. I'm offended at myself for writing that.
It was 2 years ago and in that time I have changed considerably in many ways. It is certainly not double standards, more a difference in attitude.
I have also complained not that long ago about the use of the 'C' word on here. It's not on.
I stand entirely by my comments and the abuse that will no doubt ensue.

I have a family member who has changed considerably in many ways over the past 18 months....... she’s a Jehovah’s Witness now.
Is your change a religious thing, Barmy? I promise I’m not trying to offend...... you’ve made an open comment that you’ve changed..... just merely enquiring what the changes have entailed.
Don’t tell us it’s something completely different and your official Russian name is Ivor Adtheknackersov.
No offence to possible Russian readers of TB.com.

No Toto on Sunday after his red card was upheld. Our system is a joke, disgraceful decision. Anyone else see Kenedy at Newcastle last week just kick the Cardiff player on the back of the leg, the FA decided to take no action on that yet they uphold the red card in this case. Something seriously wrong there.

I think we all knew this was going to be the outcome, it wouldn't be a Derby without them getting all the f**king luck, in the face of adversity and all that....

Has to be the worst sporting association in the world for rulings. It’s so poor, it’s borderline laughable.
Hopefully angered the manager/players, ...... smash the yellow lot on Sunday.

Yep saw it and as you say an absolute disgrace that the FA have taken no action about it. After the TOTO decision I will no longer moan at defenders for backing off and not making a challenge as it seems the FA are determined to make the game a non contact sport.charlton837 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 30, 2018 4:00 pmNo Toto on Sunday after his red card was upheld. Should and would are two different thing. Everyone knew he should be let of, but everyone (or clearly not quite everyone) knew there was a very good chance he wouldn't be.derick_ipsw wrote: ↑Thu Aug 30, 2018 5:59 pmNo we did not, by everyones response this was not expected at all.
The appeal process sucks, in fact it all sucks, they like to 'stick by the referees decision', unless it's completely blatantly obvious (like if the player was actually the opposite end of the pitch from the alleged offence, or perhaps not even playing might just do it). The fact they haven't increased the ban at least shows there was fair grounds for the appeal, they most likely agree with Ipswich, but don't want to turn things over lightly, pathetic.
