One thing... I’d say the bench offers attacking options.

Keep it tight until the 70th or 80th minute .... and then bring on some attacking options. Sounds a bit like tactics from the Mick McCarthy handbook.

The worst start possible, 1-0 down after 3mins against a team that’ve lost their last six home games.

The only difference, McCarthy sides rarely went 1-0 down in 3 mins.

Hull are unbeaten in 11 matches against Ipswich in all competitions (W8 D3) since a 1-0 defeat on the final day of the 2007-08 Championship season
Ipswich have won away at Hull just once in 18 attempts in all competitions (D6 L11), a 5-2 win in the Championship in March 2007
A very Lucky ground for us...NOT!

....and to rub salt in BB, Reading have just gone one up at Preston to shove us (hopefully temporarily) to the bottom of the table.

Thought some of the critics of Nolan were a bit harsh but sounds like he has been crap in front of goal so far.

At least it sounds like we’re getting back into the game even if our shooting in front of goal sounds dire, “high & wide” seems to be the quote of the day describing shots from Graham and Nolan.

No shots on target in the first half. Changes need to be made. A extra striker take Nolan off and bring Rowe on for Graham. .

That was so sloppy from Downes. Got caught on half way when he should have brought the ball forward.. went backwards and got caught. Unnecessary. Rubbish in the first 35.

Nolan had two good chances... should have done better. Graham also had two.... but preferred to take a first touch.

I’d take Downes off and get Jackson on at HT. Downes has done nothing much and he’s not got anything to offer in the final third.

Hard to say who’s our best player for the first half, but Pennington’s doing OK

Has Downes ever done anything? Not being harsh on the guy, but I've never heard of reports of him doing much in the first team.

We have had a shot on target.....66 mins
Attempt saved. Jordan Graham (Ipswich Town) right footed shot from outside the box is saved in the centre of the goal

Reading just scored a 3rd to go 3-2 up.

Not a good afternoon so far with 7mins to play.

Do those who told me that I should wait until December to express the concerns I have articulated after the last couple of games still think I'm wrong?

Toothless in attack, not good enough in defence. New players that are not bloody minded enough and, it would seem, who lack the quality for this league. I honestly do not see that we are playing better football this season so far. Certainly the last couple of games have been very low quality.

This is going to be a long season.

In the same league...... Rotherham 1 Derby 0.

To be concerened is fine and understandable. I dont understand paul hursts team selections at the monent or his formations given the players we have. But i do think we should also take into account the job he has with the budget evens gives out. We sell waghorn for millions and invest very little back. Now is that ph or evens? Either way the buck stops with ph at the moment and he needs to stop fannying around with the team and get a settled squad week in week out. I still believe we need to wait and see, give him until the new year and judge him then.

You are spot on PH is out of depth. Not a f**king clue what he is doing. High pressing playing from the back high intensity my arse. We are going down if this idiot stays in charge.

Oh dear, hysteria on here as well as the radio.

Please remember that it is only 15 September and a handful of games into the season. Please give the manager a chance and stop being so melodramatic.

Agreed! Today was very poor but I honestly don't think all the games have been. Just that this very poor performance comes at a time where we are already struggling. We do need a win very soon though
