Hmm some interesting potential behind the scenes

Info here...worth a quick scan, and IF true a tad worrying.

Is there anything to corroborate this?

If not, then it’s just a bit of worthless gossip provided by the same “reliable source”.

Reading some of the comments further down it looks as if several have jumped on this as if it’s completely true.

If we were winning... no one would care.

Had a look through this maybe an hour or so back. Thing is any manager that works under Marcus Evans appears Teflon. This is an owner who sits on his as* idly doing nothing irrespective of how bad the team is doing or the ineptitude of the manager involved. Under a different ownership failing names would have ideally been out the exit left and right but we're stuck with a regime with their heads in their as*.

Say if the situation stays as it is and the team is still in the relegation three by end of year you can't envisage for one moment any action will be taken other than Hurst deciding to resign. Maybe that's one reason why Hurst took the post, realizes he's in a position that won't be jeopardized no matter how he performs. I don't how reliable the source may be, you take into account the individuals involved and their potential associates. It's not hard to smell a rat in these given scenarios.

New manager coming in for a popular predecessor ( with players and staff as opposed to fans), a lot of new players, a bad start to the campaign...shock horror that there's a bit of unrest.

Seriously, a win today and that all goes away.

Great start to the season, if half the management have already lost the dressing room :?

Anybody REALLY surprised? The guy looks like he could potentially think he’s “the big man”. But if true, hopefully Paul Hurst grows a pair and deals with that area and gets rid of him. Definitely replaceable.

Very few managers ever sack their assistant manager as it takes them out of their comfort zone. Hurst and Doig have been together since 2014 and my bet would be that they’ll both be gone sometime soon.
