I tipped us to loose, it's a big ask to change a loosing side to a winning team literally overnight, though I think we will survive ultimately, it won't be any miracle cure and lambert and the boys still have their work cut out to avoid the drop.
Like most, a draw looks likely but Millwall fought back well and snatched a victory from the jaws of defeat against a better side than us recently so lowly Ipswich should not be a major hurdle, they will be thinking.
It will be interesting to see the side he puts out as to what he believes is his best side and formation.

COME ON YOU BLUES ⚽

I’m keen to see who’s in goal this afternoon, who plays RB... who’s in midfield.... and what formation we play. Won’t be Lamberts team, but interesting to see how Klug sets up. Chambers, Skuse and Knudsen are bound to be in the line up.

No recognised right back looks like it could be Ward unless it's 3-5-2. Can someone at the game let us know.

TWTD says Ward is RWB. CHalobah in defence. 3-5-2 or 5-3-2.

Right there. Didn’t think Ward played well at RWB last time. Wouldn’t mind seeing Edwards at RWB instead... if we’re going round pegs/square holes.

This is not working change needed at half time. No shots at all .

Created nothing, dont think we've even had a corner again. Stupid formation, Knudsen and Ward are an embarrassment, thank god for Pennington or it would be much worse.

If Lamberts watching.... then he won’t be impressed. Knudsen is particularly poor.

Downes has added some bite in midfield. As ever, we can’t string passes together.

Just checked in for half time, can’t believe we’ve not even had a shot yet alone one on target and not a single corner. Can it get any worse. Paul Lambert must wonder what the hell he’s taken on.!

This requires more than a new manager.
No really quality to work with!

Like I feared, just hope he has a good plan to get us playing football again. This is beyond bleak.

This is depressing, Lambo needs to be a miracle worker to sort this out :(

Gets worse and worse, absolutely clueless, Downes best player but better than what ?

Bart.....sh*te
Knudsen......sh*te
Ward......sh*te
Chambers......sh*te
Jackson.......sh*te

Half a team, what chance do you have. I would suggest even Pep Guardiola wouldnt keep this shower of sh*te up. We will without question go down, if by some absoulte miracle we don't Paul Lambert will be a god, a Messiah !!!! Another journey home thoroughly pissed off.

I'll Bet Paul Lambert, will bring in at least 4 free agents to shore things up, get rid of the 11 Hurst signings plus Ward and Knudsen, and maybe Chambers in Jan window, treat it as a bad experience, start again with some experience championship players, he must know of good quality players he can bring in from the other clubs he's managed,

Anyone actually looked at the players available on frees? Makes for interesting reading! Wonder what Nasri would want to come here?

That was depressing. I really hope PL can turn things around but doubt he can do it with the players we currently have. Unfortunately, I don't rate him as a manager. To me he is MM lite. Please prove me wrong Mr. Lambert.

This is quite depressing. Thought there’d be a wee injection of intent from the players with Lambert looking on. (If he was indeed looking on)

Lambert was in the stand Marko, rumour has it he's resigned. There was no injection of enthusiasm whatsoever

Worryingly 4 of those 5 have been here a while and are what should be considered our experienced pros. We are in deep sh*t without a paddle here. We've been in decline for a few seasons really but we've really pressed the fast forward button

Have to say that I agree but why not let him bring in a few new faces and make the team a little more in his own image.

The season starts tomorrow when PL meets everybody. We have 31 game season now and we need 43 or 45 more points to stay up.

New manager watching on from the stands, and team/tactics for today decided by somebody who actually knows what he's doing.
Screams of an away win for me.

Millwall 0 - Ipswich 3
If you squint while reading it, that was almost the score!
