Could he be a possible option for us in January?Still a scoring machine?or more capable than what we have at the moment ,we desperately need someone to get us out of this sh*t,out of favour at Portsmouth.would he want to come back & would we want him?Personally i think he`s a good option, get Murphy back to ,with him up front,it will be like the good old days again :D

Murphy makes sense. Genuine physical presence up top.

Not sure that Pitman and Murphy struck up a decent partnership when here.

Might not work together but both know where the net is,believe Pitman has scored 27 goals since being at Portsmouth. We can't expect to much from Sears,he's improving & scoring but not the answer.

We definately need a striker, but no good if we score and then ship 2 or 3 sloppy goals every game. Maybe the defence is the priority.

Easy solution... drop Bart, but still think we’ll offer too many chances.

I dont think we will be seeing these type of players returning, it looks like we will be signing players not loaning them, I am expecting better than this.

Both areas need strengthening, at the moment we can't score or defend for toffee :(

Definitely need both... and maybe a strong midfielder. But with a decent defence we have the possibility of winning 1-0. We scored 2 the other night and been in winning positions this season.

Not sure who Mate but I am thinking up to Four new faces, defensively and in attack, I don't think we have any real issues in Midfield to address.

Well apart from Skuse in midfield, I don’t think we’ve had a settled midfield. No one who can control midfield and put us on the front foot. Heartening to see Bishop there and trying to drive forward in bursts. Hope he stays fit

We’ve got so many midfielders.... but not sure we know our best combination yet.

I think we need to address the full back positions in January and a decent front man.... but that won’t be enough.

If it was down to me I would be selling Bart & Knudsen, signing a goalkeeper, a RB & LB and Two strikers, with Bishop and hopefully Huws returning I believe the midfield will be ok, could also have Nydam back to compete with Downes, Chalobah and Dozzell, then with the wide players like Ward and Edwards we sure as hell can't bring in anymore unless we ship some out.

I would hope Lambo brings in a left back, right and a striker with experience and presence up front.

The other thing id consider trying would be this in defence.

..........................Gerken......................

Emmanuel/ Chambers........ Chalobah......Pennington.......Kenlock

......................................Skuse...............................

...............Bishop.........or............Dozzell............

.......................................Nydam..............

..........Lankester ..............................................Sears

.....................................new striker".............................

 it’s eversince my iPad did one of those update thingy’s....if I type too quick it defaults to the number ...as each key now has either a letter of a number, for that key. It’s a pain in the arse tbh and wish I could get rid of it.

Had a dream last night with Evans announcing he intended to reduce the average wage at the club from £30k a year down to £28k...

Getting closer to the truth by the year! Certainly can't rely on January, if we don't get some wins soon, then we will attract no one and be 15 points adrift at the bottom of the table.

That’s my fear, too. 12-15 points adrift by the New Year and not only will it be difficult to attract players, but I think Evans won’t be prepared to splash out on players. I think he’ll be preparing for League 1 and so will we.

I’d take 7 points adrift by January in a heartbeat if it was on offer now.
