Free agents.

I thought this had been covered previously but can't find anything with the search facility?!

So we are all in agreement that new faces are required. I keep hearing we have to wait until January, yet there are some free agents out there who we could bring in at any time. So here is a list of current players without a club:

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/transfe ... se=&plus=1

So who could we attract from that list and would bring that little bit of quality to the club?

Would quite like to see Huth play for us, solid in defence and chips in with a goal or two! Fantasy land? Quite probably.

I think the problem is it would be several weeks before a player would be up to match fitness so not realistic IMO.

I would have been happy to have taken a chance with Robbie Keane until he announced his retirement last week.

Tell you what, must really take a lot of effort being a manager. I can’t even be arsed to look at the list.

We could get Agblonahor and Berbatov for under two million. Sometimes it pays to take an interest.

The former is a good striker, the latter is a couple years older but both worth a chance for that kind of proposed price. Could really lend some options going forward - options the club seem limited with at present time.

SJ, do you know how far as a club we have actually fallen?

I have a feeling that just like McCarthy had to , Paul Lambert will have to rely heavily on players he has formerly managed and has a mutual trust with. Time to call on favours I think.

As long as they're not injury prone, I don't care who he brings in. He certainly seems confident he'll get the players he wants!
