I would have thought if the game or tournament was cancelled it would have been picked up by TWTD/EADT by now. Can’t see anything.

Fortuna have been tweeting about it today and it is also on Facebook so be very odd if it was off and nothing was being said via official sources.

FC Utrecht are also giving it plenty of coverage today.

It's a weird one. If you google "Fortuna v Ipswich", it still shows that it's cancelled. Very confusing for fans thinking about travelling to it.

You want to get yourself down to the airport Mark, seems there's an opportunity right now. You know, take advantage of a situation.

Took in a view of TWTD a moment back and and it suggests the game will go ahead although no actual confirmation. Tried the East Anglian Daily Times also and there's no mention that any game has been canceled so would assume the fixture shall go ahead as planned.

To be fair if you Google any of the teams involved the first thing that comes up is a fixture listing saying the games are cancelled.

If you look at any of the club websites it is all on - Meppen website even advising of road closures and best route to get to ground.

It's whover is running the site Google opens first that seems to be having a mare!!

Yes, this was a few months ago wasn’t it? It really creates the question...... do the pilots really just put their feet up and forget about it after take off?
When it becomes apparent that you’re not crossing water during a London to Germany flight, that should raise some form of alarm?

I think they’re on their phones playing Golf Clash or something like that.

Didn't take long for Norwood to open his Ipswich account, 1-1 after 4 mins.

I’d have thought we’d have given a chance to one of our new keepers.

A 4 - 1 loss in a 45 minute contest ? And then subsequently beaten by another teutonic club side I never even heard of. And why the f*ck does Lambert persist with a lone attacker. Friendlies or arguable immaterial games aside, setting up with a defense minded plan and lack of attacking intent will achieve little irrespective of opposition. Am I correct in thinking we've played three games out there and not seen victory in not one of them.

Just bare in mind 2 of the games were against top flight German sides and in the other one we were actually the better side. I'm more concerned about the injuries than the results.

I'm more concerned that we now have conceded 7 goals in the first 45 mins of 2 games and we keep playing 1 up front.

Just seen Norwards goal on Twitter. He will score plenty of goals for Town thats for sure if he stays fit. Also saw him fall off his bike! By all accounts he’s a bit of a joker and will stick up for the younger lads.

I really liked what I saw of Norwood. Took his chance well, but he was battling against defenders far bigger than him and he was giving back. Got a niggly yellow with some handbags.... giving grief to defenders all the time. However, we resorted to lumping the ball up to him. If we give him good service he’ll score goals. I thought he should have got a penalty after his goal when he was pulled back. Not that it matters much.

Glad to see Huws on the pitch. Fingers crossed he’ll stay fit... I thought he did OK.

There is a balance to be struck between playing out from the back or lumping it u. To get the best out of Norwood he really needs to be played in by our midfield through the channels or crosses from out wide. I am sure as the team takes shape over the coming friendlies the possession will settle down and the defence will improve.
