Yep, same here, Steve. Even after all these years, when everyone is hyped for it, there are shivers and a slight moistening of the eyeballs!

I hate international breaks, too. I know many love the internationals, but I much prefer club football.

Looking at the League 1 games that went on yesterday - it was only Peterborough and Bristol Rovers who really capitalised.

Blackpool lost at home ... Doncaster ( who I thought looked decent against us) got beat 3-0. Pompey only drew after two previous wins. And today Coventry lost at home to Tranmere.

At this stage, I’d say Posh are our biggest rivals. And I wouldn’t totally rule out Sunderland - but much depends on if they’re smart in choosing the next manager.

Should have played yesterday. Thought third league teams and below were omitted from International breaks. How many of our first team players were involved this weekend throughout the lands, not many you would argue. Just breaks up momentum and puts a halt to progress. Damn things seem to come round with alarming regularity. Rather see Town mount up the points than be subject to a back seat while say Faroe Islands and Lichtenstein face off.
